Two Quick Pots

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Christopher Pansini raised to 1,500 under the gun, and only Thomas Sacquet called in the cutoff.

Pansini continued with a bet of 2,000 on a 109A flop, and Sacquet promptly folded.

One table over, it was a similar story.

Alan Pham raised to 1,100 in middle position, and was called by Francois Norpetlian on the button.

When Pham continued for 1,000 on a 282 flop, Norpetlian immediately released his cards to the dealer.

Francisco Trujillo raised all in from the small blind. John Hall called from the big with less.

As the board ran out Q84K5, Trujillo got a piece of the flop and turn for top two pair, but Hall hit a set on the flop and it held for the double-up.

Miscikowski Gets Gouged on the Turn

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Heads-up on a flop of 357, David Miscikowski bet 5,500 from the button and Matthew Gouge called in middle position.

The turn was the 6 and Miscikowski bet another 11,000. Gouge then raised to 29,000, and Miscikowski quickly folded.

Subramaniam Waits to the River to Raise

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

With 5,500 in the pot on the 210K flop, Patsy Altomari bet 3,000 from the cutoff into three opponents. Only Senthil Subramaniam called on the button.

The 7 landed on the turn, and Altomari wasn't slowing down, firing a second barrel for 8,000. Subramaniam gave it some thought before calling to see a river.

The 7 completed the board, and Altomari unloaded a third and final barrel of 17,000. Subramaniam came back with a raise to 40,000, and after a long tank, Altomari returned his cards to the dealer.

Gonzalo Jose raised to 1,100 from under the gun, Brandon Sheils called in the cutoff before Jordan Westmorland made it 7,500 from the small blind, Jose called then Sheils folded.

The flop came 46J then Westmorland made a bet of 4,500 and got a quick fold from Jose.

Yue Probably Had a Good Meal

Matas Dilpsas under the gun and David Yue in the hijack had already built a pot of 5,000 when the dealer showed a 583 flop.

Both players checked all the way through the J turn. On the river A, Dilpsas fired 4,300. Yue went beyond and made it 14,000 sending Dilpsas to the tank.

He then asked, "Did you have a good meal?" When he didn't get a reply, he answered himself, "probably," then folded his hand.

Mizrachi is Building a Stack

Paul Mizrachi opened to 1,200 from early position and was called by Poyang Huang in the big blind for a heads-up pot.

Huang check-called a 2,100 bet from Mizrachi on the 7310 flop, but quickly folded facing a 4,000 barrel from Mizrachi on the K turn.

Mizrachi, who is playing in the WSOP Main Event for the first time, is having a stellar debut so far and currently sits with just over 150,000.

Jaffee Sends Cohen into the Tank

Players were already heads up and on the 2Q10 flop with a pot of around 7,000. Jared Jaffee was in the cutoff and against Sacha Cohen who sat under the gun.

Cohen check-called a 2,700 bet by Jaffee to see the 4 turn. Jaffee bet 6,800 after Cohen tapped the table to check, but Cohen stuck around to see the 6 river card.

Cohen was sent into the tank after Jaffee bet out 25,000 on the river. He spent over two minutes to decide what to do with his hand, but ultimately gave up the pot.

After the hand Cohen asked Jaffee, "You Bluff?"

Jaffee responded, "No bluff, no bluff."
