Big Slick Does The Job for Torres

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Luis Torres raised to 800 in early position and faced a three-bet of 2,200 by Harry Thomas in the hijack, which he called.

Torres check-called a continuation bet of 2,500 on a 939 flop, and then another on the A turn, this time for 6,000.

After checking for a third time, Torres saw Thomas bet for a third time on the 5 river, putting 11,500 into the middle. Torres snap-called and beat 1010 with his AK.

Grise Needs a Bigger Boat Against Jaffee

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Around 10,000 was in the pot as Jared Jaffee and Benjamin Grise went to the turn on a board of K898. Jaffee then bet 6,400 from middle position, and Grise called in early position.

The river was the 8 and Jaffee moved all in. Grise quickly called for his last 30,000 and turned over AK for a full house, but Jaffee had KK for kings full to win the pot and send Grise to the rail.

Entine Flops a Set

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Daniel Dorf in the small blind bet 5,000 on a board of 8Q95A with 10,000 in the pot. Oliver Entine in the big blind raised to 12,000, so Dorf went deep into the tank.

He eventually decided to call, but saw exactly what he didn’t want to see in QQ for a set for Entine.

Le Makes Lower End

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Action was picked up three ways to a Q56 flop. Early position player Jason Dehner checked, and Phong Le did the same from the cutoff. Liviu-Rodrig Bartha bet out for 3,500 on the button, and only Le called.

The 7 turn checked through to the 8 river, and here Le placed a single T-25,000 chip into the middle, announcing "7,000." After some thought, Bartha stuck in the call, before mucking as Le tabled 43 for a straight.

Roberts Extracts Chips From Suvarna

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Santhosh Suvarna raised to 900 from middle position. Rosarie Roberts called on the button.

Suvarna continued with 1,500 chips when the flop hit 6KQ. Roberts quickly called.

The 10 turn brought a check from Suvarna and a bet of 2,200 from Roberts. Suvarna hung around for the river.

The K paired the board on the river. After a Suvarna check, Roberts upped her bet to 3,100. Without hesitation, Suvarna tossed in the requisite amount of chips for the call.

Roberts turned over AK for trip kings with an ace kicker. Suvarna mucked.

Boyer Bets Gheba Out

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Scott Stinson raised to 900 from under the gun, Daniyal Gheba called from middle position, and Donald Boyer defended from the big blind.

Boyer checked on the J87 flop, and Stinson placed out a bet of 800. Gheba called before Boyer check-raised to 2,000. Both Stinson and Gheba called.

The 3 brought a bet of 6,000 from Boyer. Stinson got out of the way, but Gheba stuck around to see one more card.

The 7 completed the board, prompting Boyer to unload the clip with a third and final barrel of 10,000. Gheba gave it some thought before folding, surrendering the pot to Boyer.

Galic Crosses Six Figures

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Dino Galic had open-raised when he called George Kamires' three-bet to 3,200. Kamires continues with a bet of 3,500 on the Q2K flop, which Galic called.

After the 3 turn had checked through, Galic bet 7,000 on the A river. Kamires snap-called, but Galic showed a straight with J10 and raked in the pot.

Mendoza Sticks Around

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Soojo Kim opened from under the gun to 1,000 and Belgica Juarez called from the cutoff. Richard Mendoza defended his big blind and the players went three-ways to the 24K flop.

Action checked to Kim who bet 1,500 and Juarez mucked. Mendoza called and the pair saw a J turn.

Mendoza check-called a 3,500 bet by Kim to see the 7 complete the board and both checked quickly to showdown.

It was Mendoza who turned over his hand first, showing K9 for top pair, which saw Kim quickly muck.

In the next hand on the same table, Belgica Juarez opened to 1,000 from the hijack and Mikhail Shalamov called on the button.

A 610K flop was quickly checked through by both to see the A turn and 4 river. Both opted to check to showdown and Shalamov tabled his 33 which saw Juarez muck.

Tang Tries to Trap Mantini

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Brian Mantini three-bet to 3,100 on the button and was called by Kevin Tang in early position and Fernando Zuliani in the cutoff.

The flop came A109 and Mantini bet 2,600. Both opponents called.

All three players checked the K turn. Tang and Zuliani also checked the 2 river, and Mantini took a minute before checking back.

He was glad he did, as Tang showed AA for top set. "Let's go! You could've gotten all my chips. You would've gotten them all," Mantini said as he let out a fist pump and mucked. Zuliani also mucked, and Tang took the pot.

"Didn't put him on that," another tablemate added.
