Leibowitz Shows Servidio the Goods

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Three players went to a flop of Q69 when Brian Leibowitz bet 500 from the cutoff. Rudy Licul called in the small blind, and Frank Servidio then raised to 2,500 in the big blind. Only Leibowitz called.

The turn was the 10 and Servidio led out for 2,400. Leibowitz then came back with a raise to 8,000, and Servidio tanked for a minute before folding.

Leibowitz showed him 87 for the turned straight. "I had two pair. Unbelieveable," Servidio said.

Good Call by Schechter

The action was picked up on a board of 42KJ5 with 2,500 in the pot.

Adi Rajkovic in the big blind bet 1,800, and it didn't take long for Phillip Schechter to call with 33. Rajkovic only had A6, and the pot went to Schechter.

Ivarsson Turns on Crum

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Players were heads-up and playing for a 4,000 pot. The JQQ flop had already been dealt, and Denny Crum bet 2,000 from the small blind. Alexander Ivarsson called from the button, and the players were taken to the turn.

A J prompted Crum to check, and Ivarsson bet 5,000. Crum checked his card before he pushed them into the muck.

Verbruggen Gets Aggressive on the River

Victor Caballero raised to 600 from the button and Tom Verbruggen defended from the big blind.

Verbruggen check-called a continuation-bet of 700 from Caballero on the 526 flop before check-calling again when the J fell on the turn, this time for 1,800.

Verbruggen checked for a third time after the 5 completed the board, and Caballero fired a third barrel of 3,200. After a few moments, Verbruggen pounced with a check-raise to 9,500, forcing Caballero to fold.

Frisbee Catches Some Early Chips

Heads up to the 743 flop, Jack Kizilarslan bet the pot of 2,500 from the small blind. Wayne Frisbee called on the button and saw his opponent place an overbet of 10,000 on the 7 turn.

Frisbee quickly raised to 35,000. Kizilarslan threw his hands in the air and mucked to give up on the pot.

Okamoto Fires Two Barrels

Shiina Okamoto opened to 500 from the hijack and faced Anirudh Narayanan who defended from the big blind.

Okamoto continued for 600 on the 28Q flop, then fired a second barrel to 2,300 on the 7 turn. Narayanan, who check-called on the flop, check-folded on the turn.

Affleck Rives a Wheel

Matt Affleck opened to 600 from early position and was called by George Grabe on the button and Sivakumar Raman in the big blind.

Everyone checked on the 425 flop, 4 turn, and 3 river and Affleck showed A9. Both of his opponents mucked and Affleck added to his stack.

Battle of the Zacharys

There were roughly 4,000 chips in the pot on Q106.

Zachary Pierce who was in middle position fired out a bet of 1,600, and Zachary Bruch who was under the gun made the call.

Both players checked on the 4 turn, then Bruch bet 2,400 on the 7 river which got a quick call from Pierce.

Bruch tabled two pair with Q10, and took the pot.

Good Start by Spitz

Howard Spitz limped from under the gun and called a raise to 800 by Devin Shang to his left.

Spitz led out for 1,200 on the Q83 flop. Shang called, then both players checked the 2 turn.

Spitz fired 3,000 on the 3 river and made Shang fold.

Piekarz Fires at Silvia

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Richard Silvia three-bet to 1,300 in the big blind and Dorian Piekarz called in the hijack.

The flop came 989 and Silvia bet another 1,300. Piekarz then raised to 3,500, and Silvia called.

The turn was the 5 and Piekarz bet 8,000. Silvia again called to see the 6 river, where Piekarz bet 15,000. Silvia quickly folded this time.

"Too early to show the bluff?" a tablemate said as Piekarz returned his cards face down and raked in the pot.
