Nahum Eliminates Fixari to Claim Spot Among Leaders

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Thibaut Fixari had raised his button when Gabriel Nahum made it 10,000 to go from the small blind. Fixari called, and the dealer fanned the 46Q flop.

Nahum continued for 7,500 on the flop, which Fixari called. Nahum sized up to 17,000 on the 5 turn, seeing Fixari flick in another call.

Nahum then pushed all in on the J river. Fixari's stack of 41,700 was covered, and he needed a minute to think things through. After a while, he tossed in a single chip for a call.

Nahum showed AA for an overpair. Fixari stood up and left the tournament area, with the dealer flipping up his Q10 to confirm the elimination.
