Heads-up on a board of 7KQ5, Tobias Kirby-Hogarty bet 13,300 from the button and Cheng Zhao called in the big blind.

The river was the 5, and Kirby-Hogarty moved all in, sending Zhao deep into the tank. He took several minutes, counting out the rest of his stack and apologizing to his tablemates.

"No problem," a few of them replied. Zhao eventually called for his last 48,800, and Kirby-Hogarty showed A9 for ace-high.

"Yes," Zhao muttered as he turned over JJ to take the pot, much to the amazement of the other players at the table.

Alilovic Triples Up, Malinov Eliminated in Three-Way All-In

Atanas Malinov

Gianfranco Iaculli opened the action with a raise to 2,500 under the gun. Angelina Rich came along with a call in middle position, after which Atanas Malinov squeezed in a three-bet to 8,500 in the hijack.

It then folded to Miroslav Alilovic in the big blind. He took a few minutes for his decision, but shoved all in for 19,800 once the clock had been called on him.

Iaculli mucked his cards, but Rich reshoved. Malinov's stack of 34,000 was covered, and he made a quick call to put himself at risk.

Miroslav Alilovic: KQ All in
Atanas Malinov: JJ All in
Angelina Rich: AK

Malinov was in last place after the KQ6 flop, needing a jack to survive after the 3 turn. The 3 river did not bring one, seeing him eliminated in the final stretch of Day 1b.

Meanwhile, Alilovic tripled up with his flopped two pair, and Rich was awarded the small side pot.

Vrakas Makes a Set on Le This Time

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Georgios Vrakas and Tan Le went to the turn on a board of 5Q3K when Vrakas bet 18,400 from the button. Le called in middle position.

The river was the 9 and Vrakas moved all in. Le quickly called for 40,000.

"Oh la la, we've got an all in, guys," a tablemate said as both opponents went to turn over their cards. Le showed KJ for top pair, but Vrakas had QQ for a set of queens to win the pot and send Le to the rail.

"Now we all have to go to Greece now," another tablemate added.

Nahum Puts Maximum Pressure With Big Stack

Level 10 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

In a three-bet pot worth 15,000, Ouassini Mansouri bet 3,000 from the hijack on the 3Q6 flop. Gabriel Nahum raised to 10,000 in the cutoff, and Mansouri tossed in calling chips.

Mansouri then checked the Q turn before calling Nahum's bet of 16,000. The 2 river completed the board, and prompted Nahum to move all in after a second check from Mansouri.

Mansouri took a few minutes to think things through. Ultimately, he decided against risking his remaining 40,000 chips and sent his cards to the muck instead.

Luis Faria
Luis Faria

Luis Faria bet 3,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 84J and was called by Jeremy Scemama on the button and Paulo Villena in the hijack.

The turn was the 5 and Faria asked Scemama how much he had behind, taking a peek at his stack. Scemama thought that meant Faria had checked to him, and he bet 11,000.

Faria told him he had yet to act, and Scemama's bet remained in the pot as Faria shoved forward a tower of blue 5,000 chips to put him all in. Villena got out of the way, while Scemama took a few minutes before calling for 30,000.

Scemama showed 66, but Faria was ahead with J10 for top pair. The 8 fell on the river, and Scemama was sent to the rail. "Goodnight," he told his tablemates on his way to the rail.

Wintersberger quickly folded, but Nouchi took a few minutes before moving all in for 40,000. Zubov snap-called.

Maxime Nouchi: 1010 All in
Alexander Zubov: JJ

Nouchi slammed the table in frustration when Zubov turned over his jacks, and the A9746 board sealed his elimination.
