Loeser is the Bubble Boy of the Turbo Bounty Hunter

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Manig Loeser (in an earlier event)
Manig Loeser (in an earlier event)

Manig Loeser had shoved from the cutoff for 59,000 in total and Vangelis Kaimakamis shoved too from the small blind with the bigger stack. The big blind quickly folded and then they had to wait until the other tables were done with their action. Over on the other table, Wiecek doubled up with pocket jacks.

Then it was their turn and Loeser was hoping to get lucky with pocket jacks too.

Manig Loeser: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Vangelis Kaimakamis: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to give Kaimakamis a pair of queens immediately to leave Loeser searching for one of the two remaining jacks.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} which didn't change the situation and with the {5-Clubs} on the river, Loeser became the bubble boy and the rest of the field was in the money.

All-in on the bubble

There were two all-ins and a call after the first hand-for-hand of bubble play. The first showdown was between Piotr Wiecek and Thomas Hofmann. Angelos Pettas had initially raised to 20,000 and Hofmann had called, then Wiecek had shoved for 85,000 with Hofmann as the only caller.

Piotr Wiecek: {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Thomas Hofmann: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Wiecek survived.

Brutal Beat Sends Urban to the Rail

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Fabien Baldelli opened to 15,000 from under the gun, David Urban three-bet to 47,000 in middle position and Baldelli called. The flop was {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} and Urban continued with a bet of 35,000, which Baldelli check-called.

The {A-Spades} on the turn brought out the fireworks. Baldelli checked, Urban bet 85,000, Baldelli check-raised all in and Urban snap-called it off for 222,000 total.

David Urban: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}
Fabien Baldelli: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

It was another massive hand at table 108 and once again, Baldelli was involved. Urban was in fantastic shape to double up but the brutal {7-Diamonds} on the river brought his bracelet hunt to a screeching halt. He tapped the table and quickly left the tournament area.

With 700,000 in chips, Baldelli now holds a commanding lead.

Stojanovic Shoves on Halstead

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Fahredin Mustafov raised to 12,000 from early position and Kale Halstead three-bet to 33,000 from the cutoff. Darko Stojanovic four-bet shoved and Mustafov quickly folded when the action came back to him. Halstead took a bit longer and then decided to open-fold {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. The rest of the table looked bewildered while Stojanovic quietly stacked up his new chips.
