Level 3 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Four bets went in preflop, with Dan Smith (middle position), Gus Hansen (cutoff), and Leon Tsoukernik (button) involved.

All three players checked the {6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop. On the {2-Clubs} turn, Smith bet, Hansen called, Tsoukernik raised, Smith three-bet, Hansen folded, Tsoukernik put in a fourth bet, and Smith called. The river was the {4-Spades}, and Smith bet. Tsoukernik raised, and Smith called.

Tsoukernik showed {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for trip deuces, and Smith slid his hand in the muck.

Cates Pulls Out Big River Raise

Level 3 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Daniel Cates raised from the hijack, and small blind John Monnette called.

Monnette check-called another 1,400 on the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} flop. Cates then checked back the {2-Hearts} turn. The river {8-Hearts} saw Monnette lead for 3,200, and Cates thought for a moment.

Any thought that Cates had been considering a call proved wrong as he eventually grabbed many more chips. He threw in 19,500, and Monnette expressed some confusion. However, Monnette didn't tank for long, folding within a few dozen seconds.

Shak Misses Everything

Level 3 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Following the turn of a {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades} board, Ivo Donev checked from under the gun, and Daniel Negreanu bet the pot of 18,900 from the cutoff. Dan Shak called from the button, and Donev folded.

The river was the {5-Spades}, and Negreanu bet 7,000. Shak opened up his {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a missed wrap and flush draw and folded.

Daher Leads the Turn

Level 3 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Adam Owen made it 1,200 from the cutoff, and Eric Wasserson, directly to Owen's left, three-bet to 3,000. Albert Daher called from the big blind, and Owen called, as well.

Wasserson joked about Owen having no respect for his raises as they continued to the {7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. Action checked to Wasserson, who bet 6,000, earning a call from Daher while Owen let his hand go.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, and Daher decided to lead, throwing 15,600 toward the middle. Wasserson took two minutes before making his decision, which was ultimately a fold.

"I don't think you have a strong hand," Wasserson said. Daher let him pick one of his cards, and Wasserson asked for the one on the right side from his point of view. Daher obliged, turning up the {7-Diamonds}.

Volpe had the best hand showing on fifth street and led out. Both Glaser and Sion called. Volpe bet sixth street, as well, Glaser tank-folded, and Sion called. Both players checked on the river.

Volpe showed {7-}{5-}{3-} for a seven-five, and Sion folded his hand.
