Nicholas Burris moved all in from middle position and was called by Anthony Irwin in the next seat for less. The rest of the table folded.
Anthony Irwin: A♥J♣
Nicholas Burris: K♦Q♦
It was looking good for Irwin on the 3♣5♥6♠ flop and 10♠ turn, but when the Q♥ peeled off on the river, Burris paired his hand to send Irwin to the rail.
Action was picked up in a heads up pot on the flop between Jane Bahk in middle position and Shawn Pilot in the big blind.
The flop read Q♥8♠6♥ and Pilot checked over to Bahk, who bet 300,000. Pilot moved all in for 1,385,000 and Bahk called with the covering stack.
Shawn Pilot: Q♦J♥
Jane Bahk: A♦Q♣
A J♣ peeled off on the turn to give Pilot queens up, and he held up on the 3♦ river to secure his double up.
Rajagopal Sankaranarayanan opened to 180,000 from middle position. Christopher Elkins re-raised to 600,000 in the cutoff with only 125,000 behind. Bryan Obregon moved all in from the big blind to isolate.
Sankaranarayanan opted to fold and Elkins went into the tank. Obregon put some more pressure by calling the clock. Ultimately, Elkins decided to put his last remaining chips into the pot.
Christopher Elkins: A♠J♣
Bryan Obregon: A♦Q♦
The dealer rolled out the board: 8♦3♦5♦K♦10♠.
Obregon had already flopped a flush, and there was no way out for Elkins. Obregon took down the pot.
The players are playing four more hands before bagging for the night.
