Negreanu Can't Crack Frank's Aces

On the first hand back, Artur Martirosian received a walk in the blind.

Martirosian then called in the small blind, and Daniel Negreanu checked his big blind. On the J105 flop, Martirosian check-called for 400,000 before the 8 turn checked through to the 9 river. Martirosian bet 1,300,000 and Negreanu folded.

On the next hand, Negreanu limped in from the small blind and Chris Frank checked his big blind. Negreanu check-folded to a bet of 450,000 on the 964 flop.

Frank limped in fromt the small blind, but snap-folded when Martirosian made it 1,200,000 from the big blind.

Frank raised to 1,400,000 from the button, and called off his stack of 3,525,000 after Daniel Negreanu repotted from the big blind.

Martirosian Wins Last Hand Before the Break

Artur Martirosian limped the button, Daniel Negreanu did so from the small blind and Chris Frank checked in the big blind. They all checked the 876 flop to the 7 turn on which Negreanu checked and Frank bet 400,000. Martirosian called and Negreanu then raised to 1,200,000 in order to force out Frank while Martirosian came along.

The J fell on the river and Negreanu announced a bet of 2,000,000. Martirosian then raised to 7,500,000 and Negreanu used one of his many time banks while studying his cards up high. Eventually, he folded and the trio talked about the hand.

Negreanu mentioned he had a seven and nines along with the nut flush on the river.

"I had the entire board," Martirosian mentioned and claimed to have 8x8x7x6x for eights full.

After the hand, the players went on a scheduled 15-minute break.

Frank in the Danger Zone

Daniel Negreanu got through a couple of raise and takes to chip up.

He then checked his big blind after Artur Martirosian limped in from the small blind. Negreanu called for 450,000 on the A102 flop before the 8 turn checked through to the 6 river. Martirosian bet 450,000 and was called. The Russian had a set of tens with J10107 and took down the pot.

On the next deal, Martirosian and Negreanu limped in, and then both called when Chris Frank made it 1,400,000 from the big blind.

Frank continued for 900,000 on the KJ9 flop, and only Martirosian called.

The 6 turn and 2 checked through to showdown.

Frank announced queens, tabling QQ7x2x, but Martirosian had QQJ6 for jacks and sixes to take the pot.

Martin Kabrhel in the Money in Three Separate WSOP Events at Same Time

Martin Kabrhel isn't doing double duty on Thursday at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). He's pulling triple duty.

The Czech high roller entered the day still in three separate events, one of which has reached the final table. He's been running around Paris Las Vegas the past couple of days from table to table, trying to win his sixth WSOP gold bracelet.

Negreanu Runs Away With the Lead

Daniel Negreanu limped in, as did Chris Frank in the small blind and Artur Martirosian checked in the big blind. They all checked the A83 flop and Martirosian then bet the 10 turn, only Negreanu called.

Martirosian then bet the pot on the 9 river for 2,400,000. After short consideration and by using another time bank, Martirosian folded and tossed two of his cards towards Negreanu with the Q10 flipping over. Negreanu flashed the K with a big smirk and said "big surprise".

After the hand, the trio discussed the time banks and they noticed that Martirosian had zero left while both Frank and Negreanu had sixteen.

"Am I the only one here that has to think long and you guys only click random buttons?" Martirosian joked.

Negreanu potted to 900,000 in the small blind for Frank to fold.

Negreanu then potted the button and earned two folds.

Martirosian limped the small blind and Negreanu checked to the KJ5 flop. on which Martirosian's bet of 300,000 was called. The Russian checked the 3 turn and folded when Negreanu bet 1,000,000.

"You gonna disappoint a lot of people if you don't win this," Frank remarked and Negreanu replied "I am doing my best".

Philip Sternheimer Eliminated in 4th Place ($705,448)

Artur Martirosian limped in from the cutoff and Philip Sternheimer did the same from the small blind. Chris Frank checked in the big blind.

Sterneheimer led out for 1,200,000 on the 852 flop, and only Martirosian called.

Sternheimer bet pot on the J turn, and put 3,600,000 into the middle. The best left him with around 700,000 behind. After using up two time banks, Martirosian announced a raise, and Sternheimer put in the last of his stack.

Martirosian was ahead with a pair of jacks, but Sternheimer had plenty of outs with his wrap, and two pair possibilities. However, the board bricked out with the 10 and Sternheimer fell in fourth place.

Small Pots Only; Negreanu Finds Aces

Artur Martirosian raised the pot to claim the blinds and up next, Philip Sternheimer raised the pot to 900,000 from the small blind. Chris Frank called in the big blind and Sternheimer checked, Frank bet 700,000 and that won the pot.

Frank limped the next small blind and folded when Martirosian potted behind.

Martirosian limped the small blind and Daniel Negreanu checked to the Q32 flop on which Martirosian check-folded to a bet worth 600,000.

Frank and Martirosian limped in next and Sternheimer checked from the big blind to the KQJ flop. They checked to Martirosian who claimed the pot with a bet of 600,000.

Martirosian was the next player to limp and Negreanu then potted to force out everyone, flashing the AA. "They are back. It has been a while, the first time today," he exclaimed.
