Couden Chips up

Level 19

2-7 Triple Draw

Antonios Onoufriou raised from under the gun and was called by Joey Couden in the cutoff and Ari Rabin-Havt in the big blind.

All three playes drew two on the first draw and it was checked to Onoufriou, who continued for a bet. Couden raised, which got a fold from Rabin-Havt and a call from Onoufriou.

Onoufriou drew one on the second draw and Couden stood pat. Onoufriou then check-called a bet from Couden.

On the final draw, Onoufriou drew one again and Couden remained pat. Neither player bet and Onoufriou revealed his hand for a jack.

Couden fanned out 10x6x4x3x2x for a ten and collected the pot.

King Leaves Kessler Short

Level 19
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

2-7 Triple Draw

Allen Kessler raised in the hijack, and Eli Elezra defended his big blind. Elezra took two on the first draw, while Kessler just needed one.

Elezra then check-called a bet by Kessler before he drew one card. Kessler followed suit, and he saw Elezra lead out after the draw.

Kessler called to the final draw, where Elezra remained pat, and Kessler still drew one. The action checked to showdown, where Elezra tabled 8x7x5x3x2x.

Kessler just flashed a Kx as he mucked his other cards, leaving him with less than three big bets in his stack.

Three-Way Action Leads to Largest Pot in High Stakes Poker History for $2.4 Million

Level 19
Santhosh Suvarna
Santhosh Suvarna

Alan Keating won a record $1.4 million pot last year on High Stakes Poker. But that hand, despite being worth more than most Americans make in a dozen years, pales in comparison to a three-way pot during Season 16.

The first eight of 11 episodes of the new season are available right now exclusively on PokerGO. There are many High Stakes Poker veterans such as Jennifer Tilly, Andrew Robl, and Justin Gavri mixed among recreational players like comedian Kevin Hart. And there's even a recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner in the mix — Santhosh Suvarna.

Santhosh took down the $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em for $1,992,870 on June 11, and then lost back $1.1 million of it the next day in Hustler Casino Live's Million Dollar Game at the WSOP. But he was in a strong position to win a pot worth far more than his MDG losses during Episode 6 of HSP.

Allan Le completed and called a raise from Michael Noori.

Noori went deep into the tank, but eventually let his hand go after thinking for a couple of minutes to award Le the pot.

Maximilian Schindler
Maximilian Schindler

Stud Hi-Lo

Patrick Moulder: 1010/J93K/9 All in
Julius Reiner: XxXx/2369/Xx
Maximilian Schindler: 642/A44J

Patrick Moulder was all in on third street, and Julius Reiner and Maximilian Schindler had built a pot on the side.

Schindler then bet all streets up until seventh street, and Reiner called him to showdown.

Schindler tabled three fours, which neither opponent could beat. The sizable pot was added to Schindler's monstrous stack, and he sent Moulder to the rail.

Meanwhile, at an adjacent table, David Williams sent Valentin Vornicu packing, while David Prociak lost his last 80,000 at Schindler's table not much later.
