Perry Eliminates Menendez in Five-Bet Pot

Level 13

Limit Hold'em

Ralph Perry raised in the hijack, and Brayden Gazlay three-bet from the small blind. Big blind Frank Menendez then four-bet all in, and Perry put in one raise extra on top.

Gazlay called, and check-called bets from Perry on the Q35 flop and 9 turn. Gazlay checked again when the river fell the J, but this time he folded to a final bet from Perry.

Perry showed JJ for a set, leaving the 66x of Menendez in the dust to send him to the rail.

Mihails Morozovs raised to 5,500 from the hijack and was called by Brian Kirschner on the button and Todd Brunson in the big blind for a three-way pot.

Brunson checked to Morozovs, who continued for 11,500 on the J63 flop. Kirschner called and Brunson got out of the way.

The 10 fell on the turn and Morozovs annouced a pot-sized bet, which got a quick fold from Kirschner.

Level 13

Xixiang Luo raised to 5,000 under the gun. Arthur Morris called on the button before Bryn Kenney defended his big blind. Luo continued for 11,000 on the K37 flop. Morris folded, while Kenney check-called.

The 5 turn was then checked through to the 5 river. Kenney led out for 35,000, quickly being looked up by Luo.

Kenney tabled 9953 for a full house, and Luo mucked his cards in defeat.

Geng Doubles Through Someya

Level 13

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daisuke Someya limped from under the gun and Shuofei Geng raised pot to 9,000. Action folded back to Someya, who called.

Someya bet enough to put Geng all in for his last 17,000 on the 539 flop and Geng called to put himself at risk.

Shuofei Geng: AK99All in
Daisuke Someya: KQ63

Geng had flopped the nuts with top set, and neither the 8 turn nor 5 river changed anything to award Geng the double up.

Cohen Bests Korn With "Nothing"

Level 13
Kai Cohen
Kai Cohen

Razz

Kai Cohen: 7x4x3x/AxAx2x3x
Andres Korn: XxXx/3x8xAx9x/Xx

On third street, Kai Cohen completed, Andres Korn raised, and Cohen three-bet. Korn called to fourth street, where he led out once Cohen paired. Cohen called, and did so too when Korn fired again on fifth street.

Korn slowed down on sixth street and checked. Cohen took the initiative with a bet, and bet again on seventh street once Korn had called and checked.

Korn called to showdown, where Cohen declared he had "nothing."

Upon further inspection, Cohen found out he had a perfect seven-low, however.

"Whoops, misread," he said as he raked in the chips.
