Kabrhel Cracks Queens

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Chad Thyzel open-shoved under the gun, for a bet totalling 114,000. Action folded around to Martin Kabrhel, who moved all in for less. Everyone else got out of the way, and the two saw a runout.

Martin Kabrhel: AQ All in
Chad Thyzel: QQ

The K39 gave Thyzel a massive sweat, as Kabrhel's over card was joined by a flush draw. The 5 turn was safe, but the 5 river gave Kabrhel the flush. "That's crazy," noted a tablemate. "What's crazy?" asked Kabrhel. "Flush beats two pair."

Shortly after, Thyzel was all but forced all in from the big blind without looking at his cards, as his Q5 made a pair of fives to triple.

Pustina Smacks the Turn to Bust Columbia

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Peter Columbia jammed from middle position for 129,000 and Vlastimil Pustina made the call to go bounty hunting.

Peter Columbia: JJ All in
Vlastimil Pustina: AQ

It was a flip that Columbia needed to win to keep his hopes of making the money alive.

The 546 flop was great for Columbia's jacks, but the Q turn swung the lead over to Pustina with a pair of queens.

The 2 river was a brick and Columbia headed to the rail.

Foxen Bounty Hunting

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised to 25,000 from middle position. Nazar Buhaiov moved all in from the cutoff for 90,000. The action folded back around to Foxen, who called.

Nazar Buhaiov: A10All in
Alex Foxen: K6

After Foxen flipped over his hand, Ren Lin gasped and chuckled.

"You raise my big blind with king-six?" Lin said. "Don't teach your students that."

Buhajov liked the call and the runout of J2J910, which gave him two pair and the double-up.

Double KO for Armbrust

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
John Armbrust
John Armbrust

Boris Angelov moved all in from early position for 47,000 only for Anthony Marquez sat in the next seat to also move all in for 97,000. Action folded to John Armbrust in the big blind who made the call and had both players covered.

Boris Angelov: 10J All in
Anthony Marquez: QQ All in
John Armbrust: 77

Just the flop Armbrust ordered of 1027 and he steamed into the lead. The 5 turn changed nothing and left Angelov drawing dead. No Queen to rescue Marquez on the 3 river and both he and Angelov were sent packing whilst Armbrust scoped in the huge pot along with two bounties.

Marquez Holds to Triple

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Anthony Marquez got his final 24,000 into the middle preflop, from middle position. Hijack player Clemen Deng and Joseph Beasy on the button also moved in, as the three went off to a runout.

Anthony Marquez: QQ All in
Joseph Beasy: AK All in
Clemen Deng: AK

It was a great spot for Marque, who held on the 81029J runout, making a straight to get the full triple.

Weissman Doubles Through Buhaiov

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Dragana Mackelprang checked from the small blind on the 784 flop, and Nazar Buhaiov bet 16,000 from the big blind. Joey Weissman called on the button, but Mackelprang folded.

The A turn checked through and the J completed the board. Buhaiov bet 9,000, and was met by a raise to 55,000 from Weissman. Buhaiov gave it plenty of thought before three-bet jamming for Weissman's remaining 65,000 or so. Weissman quickly called.

Buhaiov turned over 84 for a flopped two pair, but it was second best to Weissman's AJ for a higher two pair.

The action went check check on the K river and Lin tabled AQ to claim the pot as Foxen mucked his cards.

Big blind Yixi Tang folded.

Johannes Straver: A9All in
