Both players checked all the way to the river on the J♦5♠5♥Q♥K♠ board. After Kupin checked for the final time, Aharoni bet 250,000, which quickly earned a fold.

On the next hand, Kupin completed from the button, and Aharoni checked his option in the big blind.

Aharoni and Kupin checked the 10♣6♠2♦J♥K♣ board on every street, and Aharoni's J♠8♥8♠5♦2♣ for two pair, jacks and deuces, was enough to win the pot.

Kupin limped in again a few hands later, and Aharoni raised to 450,000 once more. Kupin called, and they saw a flop of 8♥10♥4♠.

Action was checked to the 2♠ turn, where Aharoni checked again. Kupin then bet 500,000, and Aharoni folded.

Daniel Aharoni raised to 500,000 on the button and Doug Lorgeree potted to 1,650,000 in the small blind. Aaron Kupin then reraised to 2,800,000 in the big blind.

Aharoni shot out of his seat and shuffled his cards around in his hand for a minute before folding, while Lorgeree called all in.

"Diamonds," Lorgeree pleaded after Kupin turned over his aces. The flop came K♥J♣2♦, while the turn was the K♣. "That's a terrible card," Lorgeree added.

The river was the J♥, and Kupin took the pot to send Lorgeree to the rail in third place. "Do you win, Danny?" Lorgeree asked Aharoni.

"No," Aharoni replied.

Kupin and Aharoni agreed to take a quick, 10-minute break before beginning heads-up play.

Lorgeree's Stacks Shrinking

Aharoni slid out a continuation-bet of 1,000,000 on the Q♠5♠6♣ flop, and Lorgeree went into the tank.

Lorgeree adjusted his seating position to get almost a bird's-eye view of the board as he mulled over his decision. After around 90 seconds, he took one final look at his cards before sending them into the muck, allowing Aharoni to drag in the pot.

Aharoni bet another 900,000 on the 9♠ river. "Feels like nothing to me. But I don't even have enough to catch a bluff," Lorgeree said as he folded.
