Daniel Aharoni is an American poker player best known for winning Event #42: $10,000 Big O Championship at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Aharoni collected a career-best $861,287 and his first WSOP bracelet for his victory.
Aharoni is primarily a cash game player who seldom plays tournaments. He had not competed at the WSOP for two years before deciding to make the pilgrimage to Las Vegas for the 2026 WSOP. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of Aharoni's life because he will return to New York as a WSOP champion.
Aharoni topped a 456-strong field in the $10,000 Big O Championship. He bested a final table that housed such luminaries as Scott Clements, Sam Soverel, Sean Troha, Nick Schulman, Bruno Furth, Doug Lorgeree, and Aaron Kupin.
