Twomley Shows Down the Goods

Level 8 : Limits 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Jonathan Twomley, David Ha, and Chino Rheem went to the turn on a board of Q784 when Rheem bet from the cutoff. David Ha then raised in the small blind, and Jonathan Twomley reraised in the big blind. Both opponents called.

The river was the Q and Twomley bet. "This is so painful," Rheem said as he tanked for a minute before folding. Ha, though, tossed in a chip to call, only for Twomley to show QQ for quads.

"I was live. I almost got there against top set," Rheem said as he searched through the muck for his cards, but to no avail.

"I was worried on the turn," Twomley replied.
