Dong Chen

Biography

Dong Chen is a Chinese poker player who, as of June 2026, has over $4.4 million in live tournament cashes and two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets.

Like many Asian players, most of Chen's results in his early career came from Asian tournaments. However, since 2019, Chen has been a regular at the WSOP in Las Vegas. At the 2019 WSOP, Chen cashed in nine events, including a fifth-place finish in the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship 6-Handed.

Chen won his first bracelet at the 2023 WSOP Paradise festival. He took down the $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed High Roller for a career-best score worth $411,659. A week later, he won $290,048 after coming out on top in a $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max event at the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

At the 2024 WSOP, Chen fell short of winning his second bracelet, finishing fourth in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Mid-Stakes Championship, then eighth in the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Super Turbo Bounty.

Chen became a two-time bracelet winner in 2026, coming out on top of the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship for $285,200.
