Negreanu and Foxen Are Crushing the Sickest $600 WSOP Event Ever

Level 13 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu, Alex Foxen

It’s no surprise to see Daniel Negreanu and Alex Foxen run deep at the WSOP... but not usually in a $600 tournament.

With just 31 remaining in Tuesday’s $600 Deepstack Mixed NLH/PLO, the cream has well and truly risen to the top, with some of the game’s biggest names sitting on big stacks at the head of what was a 3,332-entry field.

There’s $204,140 up top and a gold bracelet waiting at the finish line, so plenty to play for, even by high roller standards.

Hanan Tabrichi: 105

The runout 5329Q favored Youssefian, with him spiking a queen on the river to triple-up.

Galiana Hits a One Outer to Get Two Bounty Tokens

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Antonio Galiana
Antonio Galiana

Antonio Galiana opened to 5,000 from middle position, and was called by isaiah Easter and Ange Besnainou from the next two seats over. Joseph Demaio then jammed for around 80,000 from the small blind. Mrityunjay Jha went into the tank from the big blind, and decided to call off his stack of 13,500. Galiana reshoved as the big stack, which folded out the remaining players.

Mrityunjay Jha: 33 All in
Joseph Demaio: AK All in
Antonio Galiana: JJ

The two shorter stacks outflopped the pocket jacks on the A32 flop. Jha made a full house on the 2 turn, with Demaio pair of aces still good for the side pot. However, Galiana found the J river to seal the checkmark.

One player at the table said they'd folded a jack, meaning Galiana hit a pure one-outer to win the pot.
