No One Calls Like Gaston

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tyler Gaston raised to 100,000 from under the gun then called the three-bet to 265,000 from Tianle Wang on the button.

The flop rolled out KK7 and both players checked to the turn 9 where Gaston bet 415,000 and Wang called.

On the river 8, Gaston bet 1,165,000 and Wang responded with a raise to 2,375,000. Gaston shifted around in his chair, talking through the hand for over a minute before flicking in a single chip to call.

Wang tabled A4 for just ace-high and Gaston triumphantly tabled AK for three kings to ascend high up the chip counts.

Hachem Continues to Build, Araujo Eliminated

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Hachem
Daniel Hachem

Wellington Araujo raised to 100,000 in early position, and, after Daniel Hachem three-bet him to 250,000 in the cutoff, Araujo moved all in for 915,000, which Hachem called.

Wellington Araujo: 1010 All in
Daniel Hachem: AK

The 492 flop was a welcome sight for Araujo, not only keeping him in the lead, but also reducing Hachem's outs. That mattered not, though, as Hachem pinged the A on the turn to take the lead. The 3 had no effect on the outcome, and Araujo slid his chips into the middle, took a photo of the board, and headed out.

Shathaya Doubles Through Goldman

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Marc Goldman raised to 125,000 first to act and was three-bet to 315,000 by Sinan Shathaya in the hijack. Action folded back to Goldman and he called.

Goldman checked to Shathaya, who continued for 200,000 on the JA9 flop. Goldman tanked a while and then said, "Alright," as he slid in a raise large enough to put Shathaya all-in. Shathaya quickly committed his last 1,100,000 into the middle and hands were revealed.

Sinan Shathaya: AKAll in
Marc Goldman: A8

Goldman found himself dominated, and the 5J runout changed nothing to award Shathaya a late-night double-up.

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Christopher Savage
Christopher Savage

Wesley Fei made it 100,000 to go from middle position, and Christopher Savage was the only caller from the big blind.

Savage checked the 8A2 flop, and Fei fired a continuation-bet of 90,000. Savage check-raised to 240,000, which proved too much for Fei, who folded.

Wang Wins as Roque Bluffs a Milly

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Tianle Wang
Tianle Wang

Catching the action on the 7K8J7 river, Tianle Wang checked from the big blind before Callum Roque bet a pot-sized bet of 1,000,000 from middle position.

Wang went deep into the tank, but eventually came out with a call.

"You win," Roque simply stated as he windmilled 99 across the table. Wang opened KQ for top pair, and he raked in the pot to cross the five-million mark.

Yuan Climbs Up the Counts

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Berkeley Yuan
Berkeley Yuan

Greg Garabedian opened from early position and Berkeley Yuan defended his big blind. The pair went to a KK6 flop and Yuan check-called a 225,000 bet by Garabedian.

A J was turned, and Yuan bet 160,000, which sent Garabedian into a small tank. Eventually he mucked his hand and Yuan picked up the pot.

With action in the next hand folding around to Yuan in the small blind, he jammed on the big blind and picked up even more chips, putting him near the top ten in the counts.

With Garabedian knocked down to 750,000 after the hand, he was seen walking away from the tournament shortly after losing the pot to Yuan.

Sannier Eliminates Mighall to Near Eight Figures

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Phillip Mighall
Phillip Mighall

After several preflop raises, Phillip Mighall committed his 1,470,000 from the big blind and was up against Allan Sannier in the cutoff.

Phillip Mighall: AJ All in
Allan Sannier: 88

Sannier flopped a set on K58 to leave his opponent with only runner-runner outs. The 5 turn already solidified Mighall's elimination, and he took his exit as the meaningless 6 river completed the board.

Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Tony Dunst moved all in for 325,000 in the small blind and in the big blind, Lara Eisenberg called.

Tony Dunst: Q10 All in
Lara Eisenberg: J8

The board ran out A53J5 and the jacks and fives were good enough for Eisenberg to rake in the pot and Dunst was unable to survive the clash of the bracelet winners.

Pray Gets His Wish

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Tanner Pray was already all-in and at risk from the small blind for his last 755,000 against Sinan Shathaya, who had Pray covered from under the gun.

Tanner Pray: AQAll in
Sinan Shathaya: 88

It was another race for another tournament life, but the Q54410 runout favored Pray this time to award him the double-up.

Set Over Set Goes in Favor of Urban

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

With 1,350,000 already in the pot already preflop, David Urban fired 450,000 from the big blind on the KQ3 flop. Jason Blount called from middle position.

The 10 landed on the turn, and Urban jammed for his remaining 1,125,000. Blount quickly made the call.

David Urban: KK All in
Jason Blount: QQ

It was a brutal cooler of set over set, with Blount needing the case queen to make quads.

The 8 river was no help, and the pot of more than four million was pushed over to Urban.
