After a flop of 2♠J♥8♦, Zigulis paired his queen with the Q♠ turn. The 5♠ completed the board and he doubled up.
In some blind on blind action, Kevin Rand made up from the small blind and Congya Zhang checked her option in the big blind.
The flop came 8♠K♥7♣ and Rand led out for 2,000 only for Zhang to raise to 5,500. Rand made the call.
On the 6♦ turn Rand checked to Zhang who fired out for 8,000. Rand didn't take long and mucked his hand to send the pot to Zhang uncontested.
With a pot of 95,000 having emerged to the A♥8♠3♠6♥J♣ river, Methavee Taveekitvatee bet 65,000 and left one 500 chip behind. The action was on Sebastian Crane and he went deep into the tank with fewer than half of the starting stack behind before he eventually folded.
"Did you have it? Set of eights?" Crane inquired and then added that he "made a huge fold". Taveekitvatee smiled back and denied to reveal her cards while raking in the pot.
Alex Faynshteyn raised to 4,500 under the gun, Andrew Arbogast three-bet to 11,500 in middle position, and Faynshteyn called.
The flop came 3♦J♦J♠ and Faynshteyn led out for 7,000. Arbogast called, and the 9♠ fell on the turn.
Faynshteyn then bet 16,000, and Arbogast again called. Faynshteyn moved all in on the Q♣ river, and Arbogast called for his last 30,000.
Faynshteyn turned over J♥10♥ for trips, and Arbogast tossed A♥A♠ into the muck as he made his way to the exit.
"If he made it 12 and a half, I would've folded. That was the difference," Faynshteyn said after the hand.
When the action folded to Paul Staples in the small blind, he moved all in, and Brian Batt called in the small blind. Batt had the smaller of the two stacks, with 25,000, and was the player at risk.

The 10♠J♥K♦ flop saw Batt improve to top pair, but the 2♠ turn and A♣ runout improved him to an unwanted two-pair, as Staples' straight sent Batt to the rail.
Ching Chou raised to 4,000 in early position, Matt Berkey moved all in for 41,500 in the small blind, and Chou called.

Berkey had Chou dominated going to the flop, which came 9♣8♦8♣. The 6♥ turn was safe for Berkey, and he secured the double up once the 4♠ fell on the river.
Action was picked up with cards on their backs between Tyler Reiman in the big blind and Jason Jeronimo in late position.
With a board reading J♦5♦2♣, Reiman was all in and at risk for 116,500 against Jeronimo's covering stack.

It was all over on the turn 5♣ as Reiman filled up, leaving the 9♣ river as a mere formality.
Reiman raked in the pot while Jeronimo was left with just four big blinds.
Samuel Taylor raised from middle position and called Skyler Dennis's three-bet to 13,000 from the button.
The dealer fanned the 10♥6♠7♠ flop, and both players checked to the Q♥ turn. Taylor jammed for about 37,000, and Dennis quickly called.

Both players held draws, with Dennis's ace-high currently in front.
The 5♣ was no help to Taylor, leaving him with king-high as his stack was pushed across the table to Dennis.
Ignacio Puebla called 2,000 in middle position, Brandon Wong called in the cutoff and Dongze Hao called in the small blind before Jeff Fenster made it 12,000 from the big blind. Puebla then three-bet to 28,000, then action folded back to Fenster who four-bet to 47,000, Puebla five-bet all in for 53,000, and Fenster called.

The board ran out 6♦9♦6♣4♠Q♥, and Puebla was eliminated.
Mark Egbert was first to act and opened to 4,000. David Kazanjian made the call from the next seat over, and Michael Moreno joined the party with a call from the big blind.
All three players checked the 9♠A♣Q♥ flop.
Moreno led out for 7,000 on the 6♠ turn. Egbert folded, but Kazanjian stuck around with a call.
The A♥ river led to a check from Moreno. Kazanjian took the initiative with a wager of 22,000.
Moreno folded to award the pot to Kazanjian.
