Taken on the Turn

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Robert Berton raised to 1,400 from middle position, and called when Nicholas Boll three-bet to 4,000 in the big blind.

Both players checked on the 784 flop, but when Boll checked again on the 9 turn, Berton bet 3,500. That was enough to claim the pot, as Boll immediately folded.

Pheasant Bets Out Sole

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Ignacio Sole limped from the small blind, but Steven Pheasant wasn't having any of it as he raised to 1,500 from the big blind.

Sole called to bring the 9J9 flop. Pheasant continued for 2,500 after it was checked to him, and Sole tossed in the call.

The 4 turn led to another check from Sole. Pheasant kept his foot on the pedal and fired 4,000. Sole had had enough and folded his hand to award the small skirmish to Pheasant.

Pastore Pushes Through on Turn

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Jonathan Pastore limped on the button, and Jay Glass followed with a limp from the small blind. Atun Topic raised the price of admission to 2,300 from the big blind. Pastore and Glass both called.

The 425 flop was checked to Pastore, who bet 2,500. Both Glass and Topic called to keep it three-handed.

It checked to Pastore on the 5 turn once again before he bet 10,000. This was enough to end the hand as both Glass and Topic yielded the pot with folds.

Pimlott Uses Two of His Lives

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Bryan Pimlott

William Hayes opened to 1,100 from late position and Martin Gerloff called from the cutoff. Bryan Pimlott three-bet jammed for 11,400 on the button and Hayes made a quick fold.

Gerloff took longer to make a decision and picked up the call amount off his stack. He quickly pulled it back and shook his head and said, "I want you to survive," before mucking his cards.

A few hands later Hayes opened to 1,000 from under the gun and Pimlott called from middle position. Victor Paredes called on the button and so did Jacob Steede from the small blind. Micha Bitton defended his big blind.

The 248 flop saw the blinds check and Hayes bet 2,500. Pimlott jammed for his last 13,900 and the blinds both mucked. Hayes called and put Pimlott at risk.

Bryan Pimlott: 44All in
William Hayes: A8

Pimlott was ahead on the flop having picked up a set of fours. Hayes was looking at top pair and the heart flush draw which gave him plenty of outs and a real sweat for Pimlott.

The Q turn didn't change anything and the 8 river saw Pimlott hold and lock up more than a double-up.

Davies Takes from Sheer

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Cathy Sheer opened to 1,300 from the cutoff and was immediately three-bet to 4,000 by Spencer Davies on the button. Sheer called.

Sheer checked the Q105 flop, and Davies fired a continuation-bet of 2,500. Sheer called once more.

Both players checked the 5 turn before the K completed the board. Sheer checked for a final time, then folded after Davies fired out a river bet.

Delossantos Hits to Survive

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Catching on a 7624 board, and with roughly 20,000 already in the pot, Victor De Los Santos bet 15,000 from the big blind. Michael Kiley was then deciding how to respond on the button.

"If I'm going to call, I have to just go all in," were Kiley's thoughts, referencing that De Los Santos only had another 26,300 behind.

After a couple of minutes, that's what he did, moving all in, which De Los Santos called.

Victor De Los Santos: AQ All in
Michael Kiley: 99

De Los Santos was looking to pair one of his overcards or hit a heart to survive. In the end, he did both, as the Q completed the board, seeing De Los Santos survive.

Priest Gets Some Chips Out of Zhang

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

From under the gun, on the 63K flop, James Priest bet 2,500, and Fangxiao Zhang called on the button.

The 8 landed on the turn, and Priest doubled his bet to 5,000. Again, Zhang called.

Priest fired another 5,000 on the 2 river. Zhang quickly called, but mucked after Priest tabled KQ for top pair.

Kevin Eyster
Kevin Eyster

On a completed board of J10249 with some 19,000 in the middle, Andrew Shelton made it 12,000 to go. Kevin Eyster grabbed two of his green T-25,000 chips and then declared a raise to 34,000, which forced an instant fold from Shelton.

Eyster can be found on a table where several players have already significantly increased their stack since entering the second starting day.

Lewman Nearly Triples; Kribben Out in Three-way Clash

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Jonathan Shaw was already all in for approximately 80,000 from the big blind, Henry Lewman was all in for approximately 30,000 from early position, and Matthias Kribben was all in for approximately 22,000 on a flop of A56.

Matthias Kribben: 63All in
Henry Lewman: 55All in
Jonathan Shaw: AK

Lewman had way the best of it with his set of fives, and the 108 runout changed nothing — awarding a near triple-up to Lewman and eliminating Kribben from the Main Event.
