Latinois Can't Shake Schuler

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Malo Latinois made it 1,100 from the cutoff, and Trent Schuler defended his big blind to set the stage for the 9JQ flop.

Schuler took the betting lead with a wager of 2,000 on the flop. Latinois made the call.

The 5 turn did not deter Schuler, who bet 4,200 on fourth street.

Latinois called the turn to bring the 10 river. Schuler slowed down with a check, and Latinois followed with a bet of 15,000.

Schuler went into the tank as he considered the hand, but ultimately decided on a call.

"Nice call," said Latinois as he showed 42 for a bluff.

Schuler claimed the pot when he showed Q10 for two pair.

With 11,500 in the middle to the 10444 turn, Benjamin Gros bet 5,500 and was called by Barrett Threadgill. The 5 followed on the river and Gros bet another 12,500, which forced a reluctant fold from Threadgill.

Sharpe Calls Saceudo's River Bomb

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Carlos Saucedo opened to 1,200 first to act and was called by Joshua Sharpe from directly behind and Martin Barisch on the button for a three-way pot.

All three players checked on the KK2 flop and then Saucedo led out for 1,700 on the 3 turn. Sharpe called and Barisch folded.

Saucedo overbet the pot for 15,500 after the 8 filled the river and Sharpe didn't take long to stick in a call.

Saucedo reluctantly turned over A9 for a bluff and Sharpe revealed K9 for trip kings to claim the pot.

Berton Leads the River

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Nicholas Boll raised to 1,300 in the hijack, and Peter Pompeii called on the button, which tempted Robert Berton in from the big blind.

Boll continued with a bet of 4,000 on a 6KJ flop, which only Berton called, before the 3 turn checked through.

Berton led out for 6,000 on the 8 river, which did the trick, as Boll folded.

Potaznik's Bullets Avoid Disaster

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

There were about 30,000 chips in the pot on a board of 41064, and after some back and forth, Jonathan Potaznik was all-in and at risk for his remaining 60,500. Henry Lewman was the player looking to score the knockout.

Jonathan Potaznik: AA All in
Henry Lewman: 109

Potaznik was well ahead with his overpair, and only a ten on the river would send him to the rail.

The dealer peeled off the 5 on the river, a safe card for Potaznik, who doubled to more than two and a half starting stacks.

As relayed by the ESPN crew, Jean-Robert Bellande has been eliminated. He was among several players to limp in and Scott Nicol then raised to 3,000. The first limper called before Bellande jammed for around 24,000. Nicol rejammed and isolated successfully.

Jean-Robert Bellande: QxQx All in
Scott Nicol: KxKx

There was no escape for Bellande on the 764102 runout and that spelled the end for him in Level 4.

Campelo Busts to Smith's Boat

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Eric Smith
Eric Smith

With the board reading 3Q510, Eric Smith bet around 25,000 from early position, and Breno Campelo raised to 53,000 on the button. Smith jammed, and Campelo called for his remaining 20,000 or so to put himself at risk.

Breno Campelo: 54 All in
Eric Smith: QQ

Campelo had a pair and a flush draw, although only the flush draw was live as Smith held the nuts with a set of queens.

The 5 on the river improved Campelo to trip fives, but it was no good against Smith's full house, sending Campelo to the rail.

Adam Matues

Victoria Ailloud opened to 1,200 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 4,000 by Adam Matues in the big blind. Undeterred, Ailloud four-bet to 10,000 and Matues five-bet to 25,000. Ailloud called.

Ailloud called a 10,000 bet from Matues on the 955 flop and then called all in for approximately 30,000 after Matues shoved on the 10 turn.

Victoria Ailloud: QQAll in
Adam Matues: AA

Ailloud rapped the table after seeing Matues' aces, and the 10 river left her second-best to be eliminated while Matues received a huge boost to his stack.
