In a sizable pot of 29,000, Carlos Levy and Yansong Kou had arrived on the 5♥9♠3♦Q♠Q♦ river. Levy checked to Kou, who announced a bet of 23,000 and tossed in a T-25,000 chip.
Levy spent some time in the tank before he called. Kou tabled A♦Q♥ for runner-runner trips, raking in the pot when Levy mucked his cards.

This year's nominees for the Poker Hall of Fame have been announced, with the eight individuals now heading to the living members of the Hall for voting.
Each member can vote for up to four nominees, and anyone receiving votes from 22 or more members earns an automatic induction. This change, from a previous "winner-takes-all" format allowing for only one induction per year, was announced earlier this month.
Five of the eight nominees are first-time nominees, having met the minimum age requirement of 40. Eight-time WSOP bracelet winner Shaun Deeb headlines these players; he is joined by Jason Koon, Isaac Haxton, Chris Moorman, and Justin Bonomo.
The 3,966 players out of 4,111 entries in Day 1d of the Main Event are taking their second 20-minute break of the day.
Here is a look at some of the highlights from the second level of play:
Brantzen Wong raised to 800 in the cutoff and Pol Vela three-bet to 2,500 on the button. Wong then four-bet to 6,500, and Vela called.
Both players checked to the turn on a board of 6♣Q♥7♠6♥. Wong then bet 4,000, and Vela called.
The river was the 7♥ and Wong bet another 15,000. Vela quickly folded this time.
Jennifer Tilly was on the button and in a hand with Safi Keshwani who was sitting in late position. The pair were looking at the A♠10♦K♦ flop with a pot of around 4,000.
Keshwani checked his action to Tilly who bet 2,000. Keshwani made the call to see the K♠ turn and checked again. Tilly bet 4,000 and Keshwani quickly called.
A 3♦ came on the river and both checked to showdown with Keshwani tabling his J♦7♦, having rivered the flush. Tilly mucked her cards, and the pot was pushed across the table.
Jennifer Tilly opened to 800 from the small blind and Bridget Zillich defended her big blind.
The 9♠7♥5♦ flop saw both make quick checks to the K♥ turn. Tilly bet 1,000, and Zillich peeled her cards to take a peek again before making the call to see the 10♣ river. Both checked to showdown.
Tilly turned over K♠4♥ for top pair, which saw Zillich muck.
With about 37,000 in the pot on a board of 7♣J♦5♠10♣K♥, Laith Sheena checked from early position, and Claudio Elizalde fired out a bet of 28,000 from middle position, sending Sheena deep into the tank.
Sheena looked visibly uncomfortable with the decision Elizalde had left him, his chips repeatedly moving from one hand to the other as he weighed up his options. After a couple of minutes, he finally tossed in a single chip to call.
Elizalde tabled the winner with Q♠9♠ for a rivered straight, earning him the pot and pushing his stack to almost 100,000.
