Martindale Chipping Up

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Emery Martindale raised to 900 in the hijack, which Daniel De Freitas called from the button, tempting the big blind in as well.

When Martindale continued with a bet of 1,500 on a 633 flop, De Freitas called, but the big blind check-folded.

The Q turn saw Martindale slow down, checking over to De Freitas, who bet 1,900, which Martindale called.

When the 3 river completed the board, the action checked through. Martindale tabled JJ, and, unable to beat that, De Freitas mucked his cards.

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

"Where are my cards?" Banerji asked, realizing that they were no longer in front of him. A tournament official had to be called over, and Banerji was reminded to protect his hand.

Meanwhile, Patros reraised to 17,000, and the rest of the table folded. "I was always raising, even with you in the hand," Patros said to Banerji.

Daron Greenblatt: A7 All in
Behnam Patros: QQ

Greenblatt was looking for an ace to survive, and also picked up a straight draw on the 982J board, but he missed the 2 river and was sent to the rail.

Martin Kabrhel, surrounded by a big crowd of spectators as he is seated near the rail, was involved in a four-way pot to the 936 flop.

Kabrhel sized up to 3,500 on the 4 turn. This time, Nguyen was the only one to check-call. Nguyen then led out for 6,600 on the 4 river, assembling his bet with four differently colored chips.
