Zarzycki Makes Good Move

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action was picked up preflop, with Fabian Niederreiter all in for his remaining 55,000. Lang Lee had flatted the shove, before original raiser Robert Zarzycki then ripped his covering stack, putting Lang Lee into the tank. Eric Cloutier called clock, and Lee let it run down, forcing his hand to be dead.

Fabian Niederreiter: KJ All in
Robert Zarzycki: AJ

"Good move," said Niederreiter, however he couldn't pick up any extra karma and went home on the 8210Q2 runout.

Bui Can't Call with Kings

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dean Bui raised in middle position and got one caller in the big blind James Laina. Both players saw the flop A96.

Laina led with an over bet of 135,000 sending Bui in the tank. The bet effectively put Bui all-in and the middle position player was seriously considering his options - counting his chips, stacking them up, counting them again and stacking them up.

He finally folded his hand face up, saying "Good bluff." Bui showed KKx.

Good Start for Fahey

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Shannon Fahey raised to 18,000 in middle position and got called by Rahul Mehta in the big blind to go see a flop 1064. Mehta check-called Fahey's continuation bet for 20,000.

Both checked on the 6 turn and 7 river. Fahey tabled JJ and it was enough to grab the pot as Mehta mucked Q8.

Cooler Sends Rossi to Rail

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Gary Fisher raised from under the gun, and only Pablo Rossi got involved, moving all in for his final 20,000 chips. Action was back on Fisher, who made the call.

Pablo Rossi: AA All in
Gary Fisher: JJ

A promising situation for Rossi, and the flop 8310, kept him firmly in the lead.

The turn Q gave Fisher extra outs to win the pot, now with a straight draw.

The J was heartbreak for Rossi, as his opponent improved to a set and sent him to the rail.

Roh Sends Lee Out

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Justin Lee open-shoved for his last 27,000 and Joseph Roh raised in the small blind. The big blind folded and they tabled their cards.

Lee's hand with QJ was dominated as Roh was holding JJ, and Lee found no help throughout the board 67K104 to be eliminated from the battle.
