Jyri Merivirta raised under the gun, Kristopher Tong reraised on the button, and Merivirta made it four bets. Tong called and the flop came 9♦8♦2♥.

Merivirta then bet and Tong called. Merivirta bet again on the 2♠ turn, but Tong this time raised.

Merivirta called and they both checked the Q♦ river. Tong turned over A♥10♦5♥2♦ for a rivered flush and Merivirta mucked A♠6♠6♥2♣.

Marco Johnson limped from under the gun before Simeon Tsonev raised in the hijack. Shaun Deeb then three-bet in the cutoff, with Johnson and Tsonev calling.

Johnson checked the 7♠K♥2♠ flop, with Tsonev tossing out a bet. Another pair of calls led to the K♣ turn, where Johnson checked once more.

Tsonev fired another bet, this time producing folds from both opponents to take down the pot.

Ilijima needed to improve against Grapenthien's pocket pair, but he missed the Q♦ turn and 6♣ river and was eliminated in 22nd place.

Deeb bet again on the 7♣ turn and Schindler called once more. The river was the 9♥ and Deeb bet, but this time Schindler came back with a raise. Deeb gave it some thought but eventually folded.

At the same time at another table, Matt Glantz and small blind Jason Mercier exchanged raises on a flop of A♥Q♥2♦ until Glantz was all in from the cutoff.

Jason Mercier: A♦10♦

Both players had flopped an ace, but Mercier was ahead with his ten-kicker as the J♦ turn and K♠ river improved him to a straight to send Glantz to the rail.

Brad Ruben led out from the small blind on the 5♦A♥4♥ flop, with Todd Brunson calling in the big blind and Daniel Zack doing the same in the cutoff.

Ruben and Brunson checked the 2♥ turn, where Zack took the betting lead. Ruben folded and Brunson stuck in the call.

Brunson quickly bet the 5♥ river, only to see Zack count out a raise. Brunson called the bet, and Zack showed 2♣2♦ for a full house. Brunson nodded and mucked his hand, as Zack raked in the pot.
