Miller had run into Smith's kings and the board ran out J♣2♠4♣10♥J♥. Miller, who spent a good part of the day in the chip lead, found no help and was sent to the rail in 17th place.

Seed's two pair remained in front through sixth street, but Johnson found a better two pair on seventh to stay alive.

Heads-up on a board of Q♦9♦J♠Q♣, Walter Chambers bet from the cutoff and Ryan Miller called under the gun.

Chambers bet again on the 3♣ river and Miller called. "Quads," Chambers announced, turning over Q♠Q♥ to win the pot.

A few hands later, Chambers led out from the big blind on a flop of A♣10♦4♣ and Miller called on the button.

Chambers bet on the 4♠ turn and Miller again. The river was the K♣ and Chambers bet again.

Miller called and Chambers showed A♥K♦ for two pair to win another pot and leave Miller nursing an extremely short stack.

Tong checked again on seventh, and Mercier bet one last time. Tong called and the hands were turned up.

Mercier showed his nut flush and seven-four low, good enough to scoop both pots and eliminate Mozden in 20th position.
