Beckers Stays Alive

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Ken Beckers was forced all in on the big blind for his last 10,000. Sven Wedekin raised under the gun to 40,000 and saw calls from Raymond Padgett in early position and Brandon Mitchell from middle position.

The flop came 455 and Wedekin led out for 30,000. Padgett then went all in for 120,000. Mitchell folded, and Wedekin snap called.

Ken Beckers: J3All in
Raymond Padgett: 88All in
Sven Wedekin: JJ

Padgett was in trouble and needed to hit an eight or miracle running cards for a straight to stay alive. No help when the K came on the turn, but this did give Beckers some hope of staying alive.

The 6 fell on the river and gave Beckers a flush, but was no help to Padgett, who was sent to the cage. Wedekin was happy to be pushed the big side pot, leaving Beckers scooping in a bowl of rice, but still happy to be alive.

The $250,000 Super High Roller — the biggest buy-in on the 2025 World Series of Poker schedule — got underway Sunday at noon inside Paris Las Vegas. And it didn’t take long for fireworks.

Austrian high-stakes crusher Matthias Eibinger, who has more than $24 million in live earnings according to The Hendon Mob, attempted an ambitious seven-high bluff with a 15% pot shove on businessman Brandon Steven. But did the gutsy move pay off?

Donnelly Wakes Up with Kings in the Blinds

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jeremy Streuli limped in the small blind but Sean Donnelly in the big blind defended with a 24,000 bet which Streuli called.

The flop came 763 and after a knuckle, Donnelly fired another 35,000 into the growing pot. Streuli stayed on, unbothered by the escalating heat.

On the J turn, the same dynamic happened with Donnelly betting 55,000. The pressure was not affecting Streuli at all, and he still tagged along to see the last card.

On the river 5, Streuli decided to lead with an 80,000 bet and Donnelly just flat-called.

Streuli showed A9 for ace-high while Donnelly tabled KK then scooped the pot.

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With the pot at over 150,000 and the board reading A9810 Jonathan Anav bet out for 100,000 after Esther Taylor checked from the big blind. Taylor called.

The river saw the 7 fall, and both players checked. Anav proudly turned over AxKx, thinking he would scoop the pot, but Taylor quickly tabled A10 for two pair, and the pot was pushed her way.

Robert is Painting a Full House

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Jordan Henegar raised to 22,000 from early position and was called by Robert Painter in the big blind.

Painter led out for 60,000 when the dealer spread a 6105 flop, Henegar made the call.

Action checked through on the 3 turn.
