Tobias Peters at the 2017 WSOP $1,500 NLHE Bounty Final Table
Tobias Peters at the 2017 WSOP $1,500 NLHE Bounty Final Table

Tobias Peters opened to 6,200 on the button and Firoz Mangroe defended his big blind. Both players checked the {8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{A-Clubs} flop. Mangroe bet 11,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn and Peters called.

On the {2-Diamonds} river, Mangroe shoved all in for 63,500, which was slightly more than Peters had behind. Peters went deep in the tank and took more than three minutes to come to a decision. Eventually, the Dutch high roller picked up his chips and put them in with a loud thump.

Firoz Mangroe: {A-Spades}{5-Spades}
Tobias Peters: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Mangroe's two pair was best, sending Peters to the rail in 13th place. Despite the bustout, Peters is having a very strong 2017, including a $87,516 cash for a 4th place finish in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty event at this year's WSOP. He will no doubt jump into the Main Event to try and win his first WSOP Circuit Ring.

The board brought nothing but blanks for Yachou, who went home empty-handed in 14th place.

Stegeman Loses the Chip Lead

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

The turn was the {J-Clubs} and Stegeman checked. Kachradi bet 23,500 and the Dutch TV host called again. Both players quickly checked the {2-Spades} on the river.

Stegeman showed {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a one pair hand, Kachradi tabled the winner with {5-Spades}{7-Spades} for sevens and fives.

Refos Takes Down Wojtas

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

One of the two remaining non-Dutch players has been toppled by Raoul Refos. Wojtas was all in for his last 25,000 with {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts} and Refos had called him with {A-}{6-Clubs}.

The six of clubs proved to be relevant as the board ran down with four clubs, giving Refos a flush to eliminate Wojtas.
