Chantereau Doubles Through Aguado

Level 8 : 300/700, 700 ante

With some 6,000 in the pot to the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} turn, Adrian Aguado bet 4,000. Yann Chantereau then pushed for the 28,125 he had behind and that sent Aguado into the tank. The Spaniard had the far superior stack and ultimately called to put Chantereau at risk.

Yann Chantereau: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Adrian Aguado: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

The flush draw, live card and gutshot of Aguado had plenty of outs but he missed them all on the {q-Clubs} river for Chantereau to double.

Kitai and Diaz Off to a Decent Start

Level 8 : 300/700, 700 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai and Guillaume Diaz entered some time ago and both have already essentially doubled their stack sizes. In the case of Kitai, that happened via knocking out Hugo Taviaux as the Belgian dealt the final blow with {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush as the board and cards were already rushed away.

Once Upon A Bluff

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Nans Bruguiere
Nans Bruguiere

Nans Bruguiere had previously shown several bluffs at the table and Rami Iskandar was on the receiving end at least two times. Both just tangled in a pot which included a three-bet to 3,000 by the former and a call by Iskandar.

The {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop was checked and Iskandar's bet of 2,000 on the {10-Spades} turn was called. Iskandar then bet the {6-Diamonds} river for what appeared to be 8,000 and Bruguiere raised to 20,000.

A short tank followed and Iskandar folded to get shown the {3-Spades}{2-Clubs} by his table neighbour. "Come on, that's not possible," Iskandar sighed in French.

Milosavljevic Knocks Out Nino

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Slobodan Milosavljevic
Slobodan Milosavljevic

It remains unclear on which street the chips went in but Jeremy Nino had zero chips left when all was done and dusted. His {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} were an overpair to the {7-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} board but Slobodan Milosavljevic had him pipped with the {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} to score the knockout.

Sayfedine Doubles Through Destailleur

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

With plenty of chips to the middle until the {j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} turn, Josselin Destailleur bet 16,000. Ben Khaled Sayfedine then jammed for 34,450 and was called by his opponent.

Ben Khaled Sayfedine: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Josselin Destailleur: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The dominated pair found no help and Destailleur was left with a short stack.

Lopez Rodriguez Among the Chip Leaders

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Mathieu Pinson was among the early casualties and his former table features one of the current early chip leaders in Norberto Lopez Rodriguez. The Spaniard has more than three times the starting stack and opted to fold a {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} river when facing a bet worth 3,100 by table short stack Patrick Afonso.

There are only four players on the table right now but the balancing process will certainly change that soon.
