With the end of Level 9 of Day 1b, registration has officially ended and the entrants have been tallied up. Day 1b's 106 runners combined with the 122 entrants of Day 1a make a total of 228 participants for Mid-States Poker Tour Majestic Star.
Mike Shin opened to 2,400 in the hijack, and Casey Bogus called in the cutoff. Mark Atkins put his last 7,200 in from the button, and Shin made the call. Bogus instantly announced all in, and Shin reluctantly called off his remaining chips.
