Adam Foster Eliminated in 12th Place ($4,588)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Adam Foster
Adam Foster

Adam Foster shoved for 180,000 from under the gun and Charles Johnson, Jr. called from the small blind. Damian Baird released from the big, and the cards went on their backs.

Foster: {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Johnson: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Foster picked up additional outs on the {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, but only Johnson improved on the {2-Clubs} turn and {8-Hearts} river. Foster was the chip leader hours ago but will have to settle for a 12th-place finish here in the Main Event.

Rivera Wakes Up

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Quiet for much of the evening, Alex Rivera three-bet shoved from the small blind over the top of a Scott Hosbach raise. The shove was for 123,000 total, and Hosbach called the remaining 82,000.

Rivera: {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Hosbach: {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Rivera faded disaster on the {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs} board to stay alive.

Ferro Drills a Ten, Doubles

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Paula Ferro shoved for 166,000 from the cutoff and Alex Rivera called from the big blind.

Ferro: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Rivera: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Rivera's lead didn't last long as Ferro pulled ahead on the {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, and the {K-Clubs} turn and {8-Clubs} river secured her double up.

Cameron Bartolotta Eliminated in 13th Place ($3,381)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Cameron Bartolotta
Cameron Bartolotta

Cameron Bartolotta shoved his last 140,000 from late position and Damian Baird called.

Bartolotta: {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}
Baird: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Bartolotta was drawing live, but he found no help on the {2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} board, sending him to the rail in 13th place.

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Lawrence Schumacher
Lawrence Schumacher

Buck Ramsey opened to 28,000 from middle position, Lawrence Schumacher three-bet from the cutoff and Scott Hosbach called from the button. Ramsey fired back with a four-bet to 200,000, and Schumacher shoved for 273,000 total. Hosbach folded, and Ramsey called.

Schumacher: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Ramsey: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board ran out an uneventful {J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Schumaker doubled up to 600,000.

Klass Doubles Through Foster for Chip Lead

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Guy Klass
Guy Klass

On a {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Adam Foster and Guy Klass checked to Blake Napierala, who bet 40,000. Adam Foster called, and Klass raised to 240,000. Napierala folded and Foster called.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Foster checked. Klass moved all in for 470,000, and Foster went into the tank.

"Are we allowed to talk," he asked poker room manager Amanda Scarcelli.

"What are you going to say," she reponded. "Don't reveal your hand."

Foster tried to get some info from Klass but was unsuccessful. A minute went by and Foster tossed in a call with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} only to find out he had run into Klass' {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The meaningless {A-Hearts} landed on the river, and Klass scooped a massive 1.5 million-chip pot.

James DiPasquale Eliminated in 14th Place ($3,381)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Adam Foster raised to 25,000 from under the gun, Blake Napierala called from middle position, and James DiPasquale squeezed with a three-bet shove from the small blind for 129,000. Foster called, and Napierala folded.

Napiela said he folded pocket fives and winced at the sight of the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop. Foster faded disaster and was able to rake in DiPasquale's chips when the {K-Clubs} turn and {4-Spades} river completed the board.
