Mihai Stinca: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Or Patreanu: {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Stinca was racing for his tournament life and needed to improve to survive. The dealer wasted no time in spreading out a {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} board to seal Stinca's fate. The Romanian added €7,650 to his lifetime winnings of over $200,000.

Voinea All In Again

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

On a {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, Georges Yazbeck checked to Cosmin Voinea on the button, who bet 20,000. Yazbeck check-called, but check-folded to an 80,000 all-in shove on the {8-Spades} turn.

Voinea stood up from his chair and high-fived his rail to celebrate.

Georges Yazbeck limped in for 8,000, Alexandru Cinca made it 28,000 on the button, and Yazbeck called.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Yazbeck checked. Cinca bet 16,000, which was met by a raise to 36,000 from Yazbeck. Cinca considered it briefly before three-betting to 71,000.

"I show, no problem," Cinca told Yazbeck directly after he had three-bet. The Lebanese sat back in his chair and contemplated his decision. After a minute, Yazbeck cut out a four-bet to 211,000 and slid it forward in one motion.

"Do you have the set?" Cinca wondered out loud, while Yazbeck sat with his arms crossed. Cinca gave it some more thought, then folded his hand in a slow motion.

"Good fold," Yazbeck said after the hand.

"Hopefully," smiled Cinca.

A Slower Phase

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

After non-stop action over the past hours, the eight remaining players finally seem to have switched a few gears back. All pots in the past 10 minutes have been decided preflop or on the flop.

Elie Ghazal Eliminated in 9th Place (€5,600)

Elie Ghazal started the final table as one of the short stacks and became the first one to bow out. The Lebanese had raised preflop and got it in on a {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop holding {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Alin Pandilica had called from the small blind preflop and had him crushed with {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The {A-Hearts} on the turn sealed it for Pandilica, making the {9-Hearts} river meaningless. Ghazal received €5,600 for his 9th place finish.
