Chip Counts Table 2

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Sam Chartier Eliminated

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Sam Chartier got his chips in the middle with {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts} but would soon find a worthy opponent. Vicente Delgado had {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} and that hand would hold up. The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Chartier made his exit.

Boeree Doubles

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jack Salter in the hijack moved all in and his neighbor Liv Boeree did the same. The button and both blinds folded and the two Brits were heads up.

Liv Boeree: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Jack Salter: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The {A-Clubs} in the window was a pretty sight for Boeree, but the {7-Hearts} and {5-Clubs} that accompanied the first card brought some possibilities for Salter. The {4-Spades} on the turn made things even more exciting but the {5-Diamonds} was a blank and Boeree doubled. Salter now short stacked.

Luca At It Again

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ivan Luca made a deep run in the €50,000 Super High Roller, and is still alive in this big tournament. He just doubled with {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} preflop all in against {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} as the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{K-Spades}{J-Spades}. Can he make final tables back to back?

Chip Counts Table 6

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Holz Eliminates a Shorty

Level 12 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

A short stacked player shoved all in and Fedor Holz reshoved from the small blind. The big blind gave it some thoughts but folded, and the chips would soon flow to Holz as the German super star tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and had to hold against {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. That worked wonderfully well with the board running out {8-Spades}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}.
