We arrived at Jose "Nacho" Barbero's table and found his bet of 600 called by two players on a 
flop.
All three players checked the 
turn, landing the 
on the river. The first player to act bet 2,150 and received a call only from Barbero, who quickly mucked when his opponent tabled 
.
Nacho is down to about 19,000.
Catching up with the action on an 
board, a player bet 3,500 into Team PokerStars Pros Toni Judet and Dario Minieri.
Judet folded, but Minieri called to see the river. A check led to a bet of 11,000 from the Italian pro. A quick call from his opponent led to Minieri saying, "Two pair."
His opponent turned over 
, though, and Minieri saw half his stack head to the opposite end of the table.
A little aggression from Frenchman Remi Marlair has lifted him up among the early leaders.
We recently caught him making it 500 to go from the small blind in an unopened pot and when the player in the big blind made it 2k, he smooth called. The flop came 
and Marlair checked, allowing the Big Blind to lead out for 2k.
Rather than fold, or call, he raised, making it 5,600 and after the Big Blind matched the bet, the dealer revealed the 
turn. Marlair took the lead this time, making it 6,500 and his opponent folded.
Kevin MacPhee tweeted: "26k. Flop bottom 2 vs top 2 and he gets 3 streets (button vs bb) #EPTDeauville."

We arrived at the table to find that Bruno Fitoussi (button) three-bet Andrey Zaichenko's (cutoff) opening raise to 1,400. Action folded back to Zaichenko and he four-bet to 4,300. Fitoussi called after a few moments and the flop came down 
.
Zaichenko fired 5,600, but was unable to shake Fitoussi. When the 
turn fell, Zaichenko bet 10,500. Fitoussi gave it some thought but opted to lay it down.
Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov is playing things rather close to the vest here in the early levels.
He's still hovering around a starting stack after calling a 450-chip bet pre-flop, then quickly folding when his opponent made a 800-chip continuation bet on the 
flop.

We caught Patryk Slusarek leaving the building, and he briefly filled us in on his demise.
"I lost a race," was all he had to say on the matter.
Ludovic Lacay's loose-aggressive style of play has earned him close to $2 million in live tournament winnings and he's run deep here in Deauville before.
So it's never a surprise to see him throwing chips around and we caught him tossing a 500-chip bet in pre-flop from early position moments ago, which two players called.
The 
flop was checked around, but after one opponent led out for 1,025 at the turn, Ludovic and his other foe both folded.
Regardless, the often maniacal Frenchman is still off to a good start here in Deauville, inching up towards the 40k mark.
