Lee Sets Up Opponent For Elimination

Both Hannah Lee and her opponent checked the {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} flop before the {4-Diamonds} dropped on the turn.

The player in the small blind bet 1,225. Lee raised to 4,000 from the big blind. Her opponent snap-called.

The {q-Spades} completed the board and the small blind fired out 7,750. Lee paused for a second before see pumped in a stack of 5,000-chips totalling 50,000 which had her opponent covered. There was a short wait before the bet was matched by Lee's opponent.

Lee then tabled {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a full house and scooped the pot after her opponent angrily showed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for two pair before making his way to the exit.

Wakeman Can't Get Abdine to Fold

Level 6 : 300/600, 50 ante

Action was heads-up on a flop of {Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Shivan Abdine, in the small blind, was calling a bet of 5,100 from Matt Wakeman, in the cutoff. After the call, the pot stood at roughly 21,000.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Abdine checked it over to Wakeman. Wakeman put out 7,000 this time and Abdine called.

On the {K-Diamonds} river, Abdine checked. Wakeman gave up and checked behind. Abdine showed his {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and that allowed him to take down the pot with his pair of tens.

O'Grady Not Pleased

The board showed {9-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and there was large amount of chips in the pot.

The player in the cutoff was in the tank thinking about his next decision.

Michael O'Grady was seated in the next spot over and had turned sideways and was staring at his opponent.

Eventually the cutoff checked and O'Grady checked straight after.

The cutoff then tabled {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a straight and took down the pot after O'Grady mucked his hand in disappointment.

Kapoor Busts to Norval in Massive Pot

Level 6 : 300/600, 50 ante

Akshay Kapoor was already all in on the flop of {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades} as the dealer put out the {Q-Hearts} on the turn. The pot had more than 50,000 chips in it and Luke Norval was up against one other player for a side pot. Norval put out a bet of 15,500 and his opponent shoved all in. Norval called it off, making the pot even bigger.

"You got anything?" Norval asked. "I just have a nine. "

Both Norval and the other player had turned a straight to take the lead in the pot and leave Kapoor drawing for a queen or ten. The river was the {7-Diamonds} though and that would spell the end for Kapoor as Norval and the other player chopped the pot each with a straight.

"Wow, I was ahead on the flop," Kapoor said after the hand as he gathered his things and left the tournament area.

Ash Gupta raised to 1,000 from under the gun and was called by the player in the cutoff.

Both players checked the {7-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop before the {2-Hearts} dropped on the turn.

Gupta threw out 800. His opponent called.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board and both players quickly checked.

Gupta then flipped over his {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a pair and took down the pot after his opponent mucked.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and the action checked to the player on the button how bet 3,100. The blinds instantly mucked. Suchanek called.

Both players checked the {7-Diamonds} on the turn before the {6-Spades} completed the board.

Suchanek then fired out 7,000. His opponent deliberated for a minute before tossing his cards into the muck.

Zhi Ma Gets Unlucky to Hit the Rail

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Action opened with a raise from a player under the gun to 950. Dean Vigdor called next to act. Action folded around to the blinds and there Zhi Ma three-bet to 2,500. The original raiser folded but Vigdor called.

The flop was {9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Ma moved all in for right around 7,000. Vigdor snap called.

Vigdor flopped big to put Ma in a big hole and the {8-Hearts} on the turn and {J-Clubs} on the river were both bricks, so Ma would make his exit here on Day 1D.

O'Grady Gives Up The Battle
