The final day of Event #85: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em kicks off today at 11 a.m. at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. The tournament attracted a field of 1,732 entries, generating a prize pool of $1,524,160. All 53 returning players are guaranteed at least $4,680 in prize money.
The ultimate goal, however, is to outlast the remaining field and capture the top prize of $219,391 along with the prestigious World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. Closest to that achievement is China's Zixuan Liu, who finished Day 1 with 2,075,000 chips, the only player to surpass the two-million mark.
Sitting in second place is Lithuania's Edgaras Kausinis with 1,520,000, while the United Kingdom's Fahir Han rounds out the top three with 1,515,000.

Also among the leaders is two-time WSOP bracelet winner Greg Merson. Merson bagged 1,030,000 chips and will be looking to add a third bracelet to his impressive resume, making the race to the title even more competitive.
Still firmly in contention is Tyler Phillips, who enters the final day with 900,000 chips. A 25K Fantasy selection, Phillips has accumulated nearly $2 million in live tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob and remains in pursuit of his first WSOP bracelet.
Play resumes on Level 23 with blinds of 15,000/30,000 and a 30,000 big blind ante. Levels will remain 30 minutes in length, with a 15-minute break scheduled after every four levels. Action will continue until a champion is crowned.
