Tretter Back From the Dead
Limits: 60,000-120,000
2-7 Triple Draw
Arthur Morris was the first to act and raised, and the big blind Karl Tretter moved all in for 90,000.
Tretter drew two and Morris drew one. On the second draw both players drew one. For the final draw, Tretter stood pat and Morris drew one.
Karl Tretter: 2x4x5x6x8x
Arthur Morris: 3x5x6x7x9x
Tretter had the best of with his eight-six to double up.
2-7 Triple Draw
On the very next hand, it folded to Tretter in the small blind and decided to raise, and Morris made the call.
Tretter drew two and Morris drew four. Morris called a bet from Tretter.
Tretter then drew one, and Morris drew three. Tretter moved all in for his last 30,000, and Morris reluctantly called.
Tretter stood pat and Morris said "I might be dead already" and drew three.
His instincts were correct, as Tretter turned over 2x3x4x5x7x for a wheel to find back-to-back double ups as Morris just mucked his hand.
A-5 Triple Draw
The next hand, Tretter took another pot from Andrew Kelsall, making an eight-six against Kelsall's nine.
