Frank Retains Comfortable Lead
Artur Martirosian limped in the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu did so in the small blind, Philip Sternheimer checked from the big blind. The trio checked the 10♠8♣4♥ flop before Negreanu led the 4♣ turn for 500,000, Sternheimer was the only caller.
Both checked the J♣ on the river and Negreanu won the pot with the A♥Q♣5♥4♠ for trips fours.
Sternheimer then limped the button and Chris Frank did so from the small blind. Martirosian potted to 960,000 in the big blind and Frank was the only caller. Frank checked the Q♣J♥10♠ flop and folded when Martirosian bet 800,000 for one third of the pot.
Some friendly table banter broke out in which Negreanu said "sorry that you lost a hand, we are all very sorry for you".
Frank replied "Artur winning chips is very dangerous."
Frank then potted the next button to 840,000 and Martirosian called in the small blind, leaned to the chip leader and said "I try to win one more":
The flop brought J♠8♥5♥ and Martirosian checked. Frank announced his bet in German before moving forward 1,070,000 in two motions. Martirosian folded and Frank retained his top spot by a wide margin.
