Artur Martirosian called from under the gun and Chris Frank came along from the small blind. Sean Winter checked in the big blind. The K♦7♦7♣ flop checked through to the 5♦ turn. Frank bet 200,000 and only Winter called. The 3♣ completed the board, and Frank sized up to 975,000. Winter used a time bank, before folding.
Daniel Negreanu raised 400,000 from the hijack. Philip Sternheimer and Martirosian called from the cutoff and big blind. Martirosian checked the 7♦4♣4♠ flop, and Negreanu continued for another 400,000. Sternheimer called and then Martirosian made it 1,600,000. Negreanu and Sternheimer folded.
