Frank Battles With Martirosian and Sternheimer

Level 18 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Christopher Frank
Christopher Frank

Artur Martirosian raised to 320,000 and was called by Chris Frank in the big blind. Frank check-called a bet of 275,000 on the 743 flop before the A came on the turn. Frank check-called another 600,000 and they then checked the J on the river.

"Ace jack," Frank declared and his AKJ8 won the pot.

Philip Sternheimer then limped the button, Frank did so from the small blind and Sean Winter checked the big blind. The Q83 flop was checked to Sternheimer who bet 250,000, only Frank called. Frank bet the 9 turn for 325,000 to pick up a call and then bet the full pot for 1,630,000 on the K river. Sternheimer used two time banks and folded.

The next three-way limped pot to the Q82 flop was checked to Sternheimer who bet 175,000. Frank raised to 600,000 and Sternheimer used two time banks before he potted to force a snap-fold from his fellow German-speaking table neighbour.
