Koon Reaches Seven Figures

Level 4 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Jason Koon raised to 18,000 and was called by Ian Matakis as well as Gruffudd Pugh-Jones in the next two seats, Naoya Kihara then defended the big blind. They all checked the J52 flop to the 7 turn on which Kihara led for 55,000. Only Koon called and the 6 then followed on the river.

Kihara checked and Koon asked for the size of the pot, which was 190,000 by then.

"He said pot?" Kihara asked the dealer on the other side of the table and leaned out of his chair. However, Koon had not acted yet and placed two T-100,000 chips into the middle shortly after. No call followed by Kihara and Koon reached seven figures.

New on the same table is Farid Jattin who just entered the tournament.
