Smuskovics Slows Down "The Grinder"

Michael Mizrachi, who appears to be the current chip leader, opened to 5,000 from early position. Daniel Smuskovics announced a pot-sized three-bet from the cutoff and action folded back to Mizrachi, who quickly raised again to put Smuskovics all in for 35,500 total. Smuskovics called and a showdown was held.
"Good game," Mizrachi joked as he reached across the table to shake Smuskovics' hand. "It was nice playing with you."

Mizrachi was behind, but the 2♣10♦4♠ flop improved him to a pair of tens.
The 7♣ turn added a flush draw to Mizrachi's outs, but a merciful 6♠ came on the river for Smuskovics, awarding him the double up to put a least a temporary halt to Mizrachi's momentum.
