On the 4♦Q♠J♠ flop, Shogo Otani checked the big blind and Martin Zamani bet 4,500 from the button. Otani called.
An A♦ arrived on the turn, causing Otani to check again. Zamani bet 15,000, which Otani called.
The J♣ river checked through and Zamai won the pot with 10♣6♥ for ten-high, as Otani mucked 9♦8♦.
Richard Green on the button opened for 5,000 and got called by Kevin Rabichow to see a flop.
The dealer peeled 2♦6♦8♠ and after a check, Green continued with 2,700. Rabichow went beyond and made it 11,500. Green looed at his cards before making the call.
The turn 9♥ got Rabichow betting another 22,000. Unfazed, Green hung on to see the last card. On the river 7♥, Rabichow kept the pressure 54,000 sending Green to the tank.
After a few seconds of thought, Green mucked his hand and watched as the dealer pushed the chips towards Rabichow's direction.
With Q♥8♣, Doug Polk raised to 5,000 from the button and Nikolai Mamut called from the big blind holding A♥3♠.
Mamut check-called a bet of 3,300 from Polk on the 4♠J♥2♣ flop.
A Q♣ came on the turn and both players checked to see the 6♦ on the river. Mamut checked and Polk fired for 11,500. Mamut folded, and Polk won the pot.
Doug Polk raised the button to 6,000 and Nikolai Mamut three-bet to 25,000 from the button.
Mamut decided to bet the pot for 50,000 on the 8♣9♦3♦ flop and Polk jammed for 215,000. Mamut called.

Mamut had the overpair against the straight draw of Polk. The A♠ on the turn was a brick, but the 7♣ to complete the board was exactly what Polk needed as he rivered a straight to double-up.
Thomas Muehloecker raised the button and Ivan Deyra called in the big blind.
Derya check-called a bet of 7,500 from Muehloecker on the 5♦8♦J♥ flop.
The A♣ came on the turn and Deyra check-folded to a bet of 21,500 from Muehloecker.
Looking down at A♥4♥, Doug Polk raised to 5,000. Nikolai Mamut called in the big blind with 9♣5♠.
The action checked through on the 5♦10♦2♥ flop, and the 5♣ joined the board.
Mamut led out for 6,700, and Polk called.
The 8♠ completed the board, and Mamut opted not to slow down, instead putting 23,000 into the middle. Polk wasted no time in calling, and Mamut pulled closer in the match-up.
Thomas Eychenne has defeated Elijah Berg in their second-round match-up. The Frenchman is the first player to advance to the final round of the day.
