Wilson Charges to the Lead

Level 19 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

After trailing Harvey Castro for much of the contest, Brandon Wilson took down two sizable pots in a matter of three hands to take the lead.

The first hand was joined with Wilson all-in on the river with the board reading 73AQ5.

He earned the full double-up to more than 270,000 chips with AJ.

Two hands later, Wilson bet 7,000 on a flop of 268. Castro raised to 19,000, and Wilson called.

The players checked the turn, with action coming after the river completed the board K10.

Castro bet 80,000 chips. Wilson studied through a couple time banks before announcing an all-in.

Castro threw in his cards.
