Fujimoto Breaks Incorrectly, But Draws Correctly; Juanda Doubles
Limits: 20,000-40,000
There was around 150,000 in the middle as Anderson Ireland found himself all-in from the big blind against Koji Fujimoto on the button. They were on the final draw, and Ireland had patted, sending Fujimoto into a small tank before he decided to throw away a nine.
Anderson Ireland: 10x9x5x4x3x
Koji Fujimoto: 7x6x4x2x
"Bad break," Ireland needled Fujimoto in jest. However, the joke was on Ireland as Fujimoto flipped over a 3x, making a seven to send Ireland to the rail.
At another table, John Juanda got his final 50,000 into the middle preflop from under the gun, at risk against Mark Roland in the big blind.
Roland took one and then patted the last two draws. Juanda drew two, then one, then patted behind on the end, prompting a quick, "You win," from Roland.
John Juanda: 8x5x4x3x2x
Mark Roland: 10x7x6x5x3x
Juanda's eight perfect was the winner as he survived.
