Day 3 of Event #61: $1,000 Super Seniors No-Limit Hold'em begins at 11 a.m. local time at the 2026 World Series of Poker hosted by Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Only 103 players remain from the original field of 3,323 entries. By the end of play today, that number will be trimmed significantly, bringing the tournament closer to crowning a new WSOP champion.

Starting the penultimate day as the one to watch is the United States' Kelley Slay, who bagged 2,085,000 at the end of Day 2 and was the only player to eclipse the two-million-chip mark. Behrouz Keshtavar returns with 1,800,000, while Dean Rutledge rounds out the top three with 1,585,000.

Several familiar faces remain in the hunt. Former bracelet winners Kenna James (790,000), Rob Hollink (690,000), Kevin Song (605,000), and two-time bracelet winner David Jackson (455,000) all navigated their way through Day 2. Also advancing with healthy stacks are the Day 1 chip leader Antonio Gheller (630,000), Salvatore Busacca (575,000), and Jorge Martinez (560,000).

Also returning are 2004 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Raymer (345,000), bracelet winner Antonin Teisseire (322,000), and JJ Liu (315,000), who all remain within striking distance of the bigger stacks. At the other end of the counts sits Tai Ta, who returns with just 10,000 chips and will need an immediate spin-up to keep his tournament hopes alive.

Play resumes on Level 21 with blinds of 10,000/20,000 and a 20,000 big blind ante, and the plan again is to play through ten 60-minute levels. The remaining players have already locked up at least $3,024 from the $2,924,240 prize pool, but with juicy payouts beginning to come into view and $355,263 awaiting the eventual champion, there is still plenty left to play for.
