Jacob Gagnon opened jammed to 10,000,000 on the button and Bradley Gafford moved all in for 16,500,000 from the small blind, putting Gagnon at risk. The big blind folded and the pair looked to the board for the runout.

Gagnon picked up a pair of fives on the 725 flop but the A on the turn saw Gafford also gain some more outs.

Gaffords rail were shouting for a "Seven, seven!" to come on the turn so that Gaffords queen kicker played, and the dealer peeled the 7 river card.

It was a brutal end of the road for Gagnon as the seven completer saw him eliminated in seventh place, but he had more than tripled his recorded lifetime earning from the payout, as he took home $245,000.

Monroig Knocks Down Fairchild

Michael Monroig opened to 4,000,000 from under the gun with A5and saw two callers, one from Joseph Baghdadlian in the small blind with KQ and one from Halford Fairchild in the big blind with K10.

The 92A flop was checked by all to see the A turn and Fairchild bet 2,500,000. Monroig was the only caller and the pair went heads up to the 3 turn.

Fairchild checked, Monroig bet 12,000,000 and Fairchild mucked his hand.

The Q7Q flop led to a check from Liberta. Baghdadlian continued for 3,000,000 and was called by Liberta.

Liberta slipped it over to Baghdadlian on the 2 turn. Baghdadlian kept betting, this time for 8,500,000. Liberta called.

The A river resulted in another check from Liberta. Baghdadlian fired the third barrel for 11,000,000. Liberta called to claim teh pot with his trips.

Garry Gurevich moved all in for his remaining 3,000,000 on the button and Bradley Gafford called from the small blind. Alex Kim also defended his big blind, taking the players three-ways to the A53 flop.

Both non-all in players checked to see the 8 turn and again to the 9 river. No more chips were moved into the pot and players flipped their cards.

Michael Monroig was the chip leader starting the day, and sat with around a fifth of the chips in play. He was seen chipping at the table early on.

He opened to 4,000,000 from the cutoff with K7 and saw the table make quick folds. In the next hand he opened A7 from the hijack and saw a sea of folds again.

A few hands later he was pressuring from the small blind as he open-jammed with J7 into Jacob Gagnon in the big blind who folded K5.
