Level 25 Highlights
Ryan Miller raised to 120,000 under the gun. Romain Lewis called on the button, and Sam Snead flatted from the small blind.
Miller continued with a bet of 210,000 on the 4♥10♥4♣ flop. Both opponents called to the 6♠ turn, where Miller sized up to 600,000. Lewis called again, but Snead check-folded.
Miller slowed down with a check on the 8♣ river. Lewis assembled a bet of 1,485,000 and slid it into the middle. Miller quickly folded to give up the pot.
Brian Feck raised to 125,000 in early position and Antonio Galiana called in middle position. Berkeley Yuan then three-bet to 530,000 in the hijack and Feck called. Galiana then shoved for 1,800,000, and Yuan took out his phone and began filming as he called. Feck turned over J♥J♠ and tossed them into the muck.
Antonio Galiana: A♦Q♦
Berkeley Yuan: A♣K♦
Yuan had Galiana dominated and was poised for the knockout, but the 7♣5♣2♠7♦2♥ board gave both players two pair and a chop.
"You're lucky I didn't hit the queen," Galiana told Yuan as the two opponents shook hands.
"Good shove, my friend. Or else he shoves on me," Yuan told him, as Feck would've scooped the three-way pot had he played his jacks.
Kevin Ordet raised from the cutoff and Congya Zhang three-bet to 350,000 from the button. Ordet four-bet to 650,000, prompting Zhang to click it back with a five-bet to 1,050,000. Ordet then jammed for around 2,400,000, and Zhang asked for a count.
The dealer mistakenly thought Zhang had called and announced, "All in and call," prompting Ordet to immediately table A♣A♦.
The floor was called over, and it was confirmed that Zhang had asked for a count, not made the call. Even after seeing Ordet's aces, Zhang requested the exact count before eventually folding, saying she had ace-king and preserving her stack of around 3,200,000.
Then, several players jokingly tapped the felt and congratulated Zhang on the "good fold," hailing it as a world-class laydown.
The stream revealed that Alen Bakovic in the big blind was all-in and at risk for 465,000 against Erick Mossinger in early position.
Alen Bakovic: K♠J♠
Erick Mossinger: J♦J♥
Mossinger's jacks held on 7♦5♦5♣A♣10♦ and Bakovic was eliminated.
Cade Lautenbacher raised to 125,000 in the hijack and Ralph Perry three-bet to 425,000 in the small blind. Lautenbacher called.
Both players checked on the flop of 7♠10♦4♦ and again on the 9♠ turn. Perry then bet 650,000 on the K♦ river and Lautenbacher quickly called. Perry tapped the table in defeat as he showed A♥5♠ before Lautenbacher rolled over K♣Q♦ to win the pot with a rivered pair of kings.
Kenneth Asher raised to 120,000 from early position and was three-bet to 500,000 by Ali Ayub in the cutoff. Action folded back to Asher, who four-bet to 1,200,000. Ayub moved all in, and Asher quickly called all in for approximately 2,400,000 to put himself at risk.
Kenneth Asher: A♦K♦
Ali Ayub: K♥K♠
Asher was behind, but immediately paired his ace on the J♠6♥A♥ flop to leave Ayub drawing to one out.
Wesley Fei and Virgile Turchi both announced they folded an ace preflop, and the dealer brought a 5♠ turn and 4♦ river to award Asher the unlikely double-up.
"This is only the second time I've been all-in in five days," a distraught Ayub said. "It was always gonna happen."
"So sick," Fei added as Asher collected the pot.
Aaron Barone had open-raised in the hijack when Tolga Karakaya three-bet to 310,000 on the button. Barone responded with a four-bet to 745,000, which Karakaya called.
Karakaya called Barone's continuation-bet of 425,000 on the 3♦Q♦4♣ flop. Barone then checked the Q♠ turn before he called Karakaya's bet of 350,000.
Barone checked again on the 5♠ river. Karakaya went for it all by shoving in his stack of 1,200,000. Barone spent a few minutes in the tank before he folded, conceding the pot of 3,000,000 to his opponent without showdown.
