The Knockout Bell Chimes For Yi

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Lang Yi
Lang Yi

Patrick Bell raised from the button and Lang Yi jammed for around 25,000 from the big blind. Bell made the call to put Yi at risk.

Lang Yi: K9 All in
Patrick Bell: AJ

Bell's ace-high was in front, although Yi at least had two live cards working for her.

Bell paired his jack on the 510J flop, while Yi picked up a gutshot straight draw.

The 8 turn and 5 river offered no help to Yi, and she became another casualty of the 2026 WSOP Main Event.

Leger Puts Luber Through the Blender

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Heads-up to the K910 flop with 50,000 in the pot, Benjamin Luber checked from the big blind to David Leger in the hijack, who fired out for 20,000. Luber thought for a while and made the call.

On the 4 river, Luber checked it over to Leger once again, who moved all in for 88,000.

Luber went into the tank for two to three minutes before he released his hand to send the pot to Leger.

Salsberg Versus Houle

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jean Houle raised to 5,000 in late position to see both Matthew Salsberg in the hijack and Sam Snead Sweilem call in the cutoff.

The flop rolled out A53, and Houle bet 6,000 to see only Salsberg continue.

On the turn Q, Houle bet 12,000 and Salsberg called once more to see action check through on the river 6.

"Queen," said Houle, but Salsberg tabled A8 for a pair of aces to win the pot.

Assorted Chip Counts - Horseshoe Blue

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Painful Exit for Tentnowski

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Stanton Tentnowski opened to 5,000 from middle position before Delmiro Toledo three-bet to 15,000 in the hijack, and Tentnowski called.

On the J107 flop, Tentnowski checked to Toledo, who fired out a chunky bet of 30,000. Tentnowski responded with a check-jam for his remaining 102,500 stack, causing immediate discomfort for Toledo. He confirmed the count, and about a minute passed before he shrugged and flicked in a chip to call.

Stanton Tentnowski: QJ All in
Delmiro Toledo: AJ

Both had flopped top pair, but Toledo held the better kicker as the table was surprised to see the hand that Toledo was tanking with. However, Tentnowski also flopped a flush draw with his top pair. Unfortunately for him, the 5K runout offered no additional help, and he took his leave from the tournament.

Nicholas Hellmuth opened to 6,000 from the hijack and Matt Affleck defended from the big blind.

Hellmuth continued for 4,000 on the Q510 flop, then fired a second barrel to 7,000 on the 2 turn. Affleck check-called both times.

Both players checked the A river and Affleck flipped over 109 for a pair. Hellmuth had a better pair with QJ and won the pot.

River Bluff Goes Wrong for Martin

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Kevin Martin
Kevin Martin

Miltiadis Kyriakides started the hand with a limp from the cutoff. Kevin Martin opted to raise to 11,000 on the button. Loren Weiss responded with a three-bet to 37,500 from the small blind. Kyriakides folded, and Martin called to create a heads-up pot.

Weiss took the betting lead on the Q73 flop with a wager of 20,000. Martin remained in the hand with a call.

The 3 turn resulted in a check from Weiss, but Martin wanted to put more chips in the pot as he chose to bet 35,000 on fourth street. Weiss called.

Weiss checked again on the 3 river. Martin blasted off with an all-in for 110,500. Weiss went into the tank as he mulled over a big decision.

Weiss wasn't thrilled, but he put in the call to go to a showdown. He was relieved when Martin showed AJ for ace high.

Weiss tabled his AQ for queens-up to claim the pot and eliminate Martin from the tournament.

O'Dea Hero-Calls; Zizka on Piles

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Eoghan O'Dea
Eoghan O'Dea

In a pot worth 75,000, Eoghan O'Dea checked the 310QQ turn from the big blind, and Elijah Winkler followed suit on the button. O'Dea checked again on the 10 river, but this time Winkler bet 26,000.

O'Dea did not take long before he called. Winkler could only show a bluff with 87, leaving O'Dea to take the pot with AJ.

Over at another table, backgammon Grandmaster Zdenek Zizka and Philip Chun were heads up on the J4K55 river. Zizka bet 12,500 into a pot of 48,000 from early position, which Chun quickly called in the hijack.

Zizka tabled K9 for kings and fives, and Chun's cards were swiftly returned to the muck.

Yoshitaka Hayasaki
Yoshitaka Hayasaki

On a flop of 756 and with 45,000 in the pot, Yoshitaka Hayasaki fired out a bet of 16,000 from the big blind, which Axel Bayout called from the cutoff.

The 5 paired the board on the turn, prompting Hayasaki to check. Bayout took the opportunity to bet 7,500, and Hayasaki continued with a call.

The A completed the board and Hayasaki moved all in for 48,000, forcing a snap-fold from Bayout.
