Miguel Riera raised to 8,000 from the hijack and Dan Wagner three-bet to 38,000 from the small blind. Riera elected to call.

Wagner gathered together a bet of 31,000 on the 3♦7♣10♣ flop, and Riera came along with a call.

The 9♥ turn saw Wagner fire a second barrel of 68,000. Riera gave it plenty of thought before calling once again.

When the 2♥ completed the board, Wagner checked. Riera slid out a tower of chips, putting Wagner to the test for his remaining 150,000.

Wagner, visibly distressed by the spot he was in and trying to piece together the story Riera was telling, deliberated for around two minutes before finally releasing his hand.

As soon as Wagner's cards hit the muck, Riera slammed down 6♥5♥ for a busted straight draw and total airball with six-high, before beginning to stack his newly acquired chips.

There was no relief for Yuan on the 2♦3♦6♥5♦Q♦ runout, as he saw his Main Event dream come to an end.

Earl Goodman raised to 8,000 from early position to see Robert Berton call in late position. On the button, Jordan Ramirez three-bet to 24,000 and only Berton continued.

The flop rolled out 8♠8♣2♣ and Berton check-called a bet of 20,000 from Ramirez.

Berton bet 30,000 on the turn 6♣ to see Ramirez call.

On the river A♠, Berton bet 60,000 to see Ramirez match the bet again.

Ramirez mucked after seeing Berton turn over 6♠6♦ for sixes full of eights.

Aleksandr Shevlyakov opened under the gun, and Victor Masanes Arauz called two spots over. In the big blind, Andrew Dickinson squeezed to 30,000. Shevliakov then four-bet to 70,000. After flattening the initial raise, Arauz pushed his 87,000 stack into the middle. Dickinson painfully folded before Shevliakov tossed in the few extra chips.

Arauz put his Main Event tournament life on the line with the suited connector facing a four-bet for his last 22 blinds. However, he found some life on the K♣7♣4♦ flop with a pair.

The K♠ turn counterfeited his two pair outs, and only a seven could save him now. He couldn't find one on the Q♦ river as he stood up from his chair with a smile on his face.

"I felt lucky," were the only words spoken by Arauz as he took his leave from the tournament.

A few minutes ago, Jana Pavini had celebrated vividly and even ran up to near the main feature table to jump up in celebration after she had doubled through table chip leader Daniel Marcus.

The same table then saw a multi-way flop of A♦J♣2♦ on which the action checked to Paul Byrne who bet 17,000. David Dunlap check-jammed for 77,000 and Michael Gaskins went deep into the tank before he folded, Byrne followed suit.

Daria Krashennikova opened to 8,000 from early position before Zdenek Zizka chose to three-bet to 21,000 from the hijack.

Philip Chun surveyed the situation before he went all in for 109,000 total on the button.

Krashennikova was not interested and made the fold, which was followed by a fold from Zizka to award the pot to Chun.

"How do you fold there?" said a bemused Chun to Zizka as Zizka chuckled.

Chun allowed Zizka to see one card and the A♣ was shown to the table as Chun took in the chips.

Daniel Choi opened to 8,000 under the gun. Action folded around to small blind Ilan Cohen, who put in the call. The big blind folded, and a flop of 7♣Q♦4♦ was dealt.

Cohen then check-shoved for 31,000 over Choi's continuation bet of 4,000. Choi thought about it, then let his cards go with a tap of the table. Cohen breathed a sigh of relief.

Cordes Hates the Flop, Goodman Loves the Runout

Benjamin Cordes opened to 8,000 under the gun, and Robert Gilbert three-bet to 18,000 one seat to his left. Earl Goodman then moved all in for 39,000 on the button, which put Cordes into the blender.

Aware that Gilbert could reopen the action behind him, Cordes elected to fold. After Gilbert called the all-in, Cordes shared that he had folded pocket tens.

The 8♣10♠8♦ flop was exactly what Cordes didn't want to see.

Goodman didn't mind it as much, as it kept him in the lead, and when the 3♦ turn and 5♥ river completed the board, his double-up and survival were confirmed.

With 62,000 in the pot, Brian Wardrup and Aubrey Williams both checked the 6♦9♣4♣ flop. Wardrup then bet 12,000 on the 5♦ turn in early position, and Williams called in the cutoff.

The Q♠ river made Wardrup check again. Williams tossed in a bet of 56,000, to which Wardrup folded after some thought.

"I got there," Williams admitted as she tabled A♦Q♣. Wardrup just shook his head as he saw the chips being shipped to Williams.
